Hey, slasher, you know what they say... "rules are meant to be broken"! (roll) Just kidding... I mean, uh... An extension would still be nice. :=
#103
Hey, uh... Babar and I have been working on something and, uh... We may not be able to finish in time... so... uh...
Could we get an extension? Like a week? Or, if that's not allowed, then, half a week? Or, half of a half of a week?
Thanks.

I still don't know how to find the chat anymore ???
Is this still public knowledge?

Details here, but you will not be able to get into #clubgalen this way. Don't ask me how, I think it's invite only, of maybe specific compromising acts must be performed first.

Actually, you are wrong. To join #clubgalen all you gotta do is connect to irc.clubgalen.com and then type in: /join #clubgalen
Club galen is not some kind of elitist society, it is not invite only. Anyone can join.
The link on the "community" page of the site is outdated though, so it says that you have to connect to irc.agsarchives.com which was the old address for the channel.

Here is a quick mibbit link to join #clubgalen: https://client02.chat.mibbit.com/?channel=%23clubgalen&server=irc.clubgalen.com

I apologize for bumping this 1.5 years old thread, but it was featured as pick of the month, so brought my attention... If I am correct, the save/restore issue was never fixed? This makes me very sad, because I have to start it all over after taking a break last night.

Certainly it shouldn't be too hard to fix this annoying problem; I really hope the author can do this one day.

Sorry Crimson Wizard,
The evil of the Doctor spread out of the game project folder so I had to delete it in other to save the rest of my computer from being corrupted by it.

Just kidding, actually what happened is that I deleted the project almost immediately after I finished the game. I erased the scripts so I could start a new game over it, but I forgot to save it. And, so, a lot of people afterwards asked for suggestions so I could make the game better, I even found a few bugs in the game, but unfortunately there's nothing I can do about that. I learned on my mistake.
Bulbapuck made a playthrough of the game on YouTube, so if you're interested about the other endings you can just watch them here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_7Ajd_8b5A&list=PLEem6SKeUgpUsDmx1oCi_YeQZ96HsKQm6
Sorry.

Nice looking game, Mouth of war. At the beginning of the video the old man sitting next to a house reminds me of that character from Fallout New Vegas that has dynamites. The graphic style is really cool in my opinion. Keep up the good work!

I think that The Unprintable MAGENTA has to be played more than it has been played so far, so I wrote a teaser:

"Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No. It's a girl that turns things into a purplish-red color! It's a heroic adventure game for you to enjoy, with witty dialogues and unforgettable comic characters and - a lot of hilarious game over screens. So? What are you waiting for? Download it already!"

Text: It is what it is by Sane Co. What could it be?
Shape: It is what it is by Sane Co. Is it a bird. Is it a plane?
Correlation: It is what it is by Sane Co. No, it's art!

Thanks for voting for my entry Selmiak... yeah it seems like some kind of scary serial killer letter now when I think about it. :D
But it is supposed to have a different meaning. 8-)

I have just finished playing Magenta, and I had a lot of fun playing it. It made me laugh a few times.
I think the funniest part was the dialogue with the policeman. And, also, the first puzzle after what was the "demo"

with the cat

was really smart and funny.
And
Spoiler
I liked the ending, credits sequence... a lot of things happened :D

Sorry, SilverSpook, I didn't have enough time to write my story. I am very busy with my college and also I had the driving exam recently. It was a nice theme. But, life gets in the way. Sorry. :(

Cool theme. I'm going to participate in this writing jam, but first I'm going to do some research.

Congrats, SilverSpook! \:)/

Quote@Ibispi: Knowing the intended moral/message of your story makes it make more sense upon rereading.  I guess the real trick would be to leave more clues for the reader about what Cupid's real agenda was (although that's hard in a mystery when clues are supposed to be confusing...).  I think I'd also struggle to convey what you attempted, so feel no shame: you did a much better job writing in English than I would in any other language. ;)  Kudos for an ambitious story, and I look forward to reading more of your work.
Thanks for the compliment, Baron. It makes me happy! :-)
And this new trophy I have received makes me happy! \:)/
(though it was my original evil genius plan to win it by default ( Í¡° ÍÅ"Êâ€" Í¡°) in the first place)
