If you haven't played All pigs deserve to burn in hell, play it. |Download|

Please, consider All pigs deserve to burn in hell for, maybe, the Best Short Game award,
or if you liked the Pig, for some reason, there is the Best Character award. :X

@Stupot and Mandle, great game idea, but, very hard to accomplish, since I've already started working on a new AGS game. (roll)
It could be a great New Year resolution for someone who's out of ideas though (to make that game). ^^

You are right Dave, I keep struggling even with a short adventure game... :sealed:
I should rather search for Atlantis, that will be a lot easier to do. :-D

-Learn ancient Greek;
-Become an astronaut and go into space;
-Climb mount Everest;
-Travel around the world in 80 days;
-Find Tokugawa's buried treasure;
-Discover Atlantis;
-Make a full length adventure game.

It just so happens that not long ago, someone on IRC mentioned this game, so it wasn't very hard for me. :tongue:

I got it!
Spoiler
almost one week = 6 day; double behind = assass; ends within = ends with "in" => 6 day assassin (an AGS game)!

I'm sure it's correct, so here's mine:
Area of a certain kind of travelling machines from another planet, where everything is backwards. (5, 4, 4)

Woah! I missed this thread somehow...  :sealed:
I, personally, really liked the previous Visitor games... There is something, really... attractive about them.
I like the plot of this one, you always seem to have good story ideas.
Good luck on the project!

Also, a bit off topic, but happy birthday! :D

It's nice that you have a cat as your character. I'm sure Howie would be happy about that.
Although, if you want to please him more (I know he has long time abandoned us, but maybe to please his ghost :-D ), you would have to change the name of the cat from Kitteh to something like...
(WARNING: Word bellow is considered offensive today, not so much back then though*)
Spoiler
Nigger man

Seriously, that's how he called his own cat, and that was the name of the cat in The Rats in the Walls.
*although it is a known that he is racist, not because of that, but because of some of his private letters, and certain characters from certain stories...

Anyways, the game looks and sounds cool!  :=
Good luck with your Kickstarter! :)

I've just finished the game and here are some of my thoughts:
The highest quality graphics in AGS game I've ever seen. You guys did an amazing work in graphics department, like professionals. There were even cutscenes! :shocked:
On the other side, the puzzles weren't the greatest: it required a lot of walking through all the backgrounds and was tedious.
Spoiler
I've spent around 15 minutes looking for something to grind the cooked berries, until I've found the rock in the cave; whilst there was one more rock next to the hole in the temple, which wasn't a hotspot nor an object and I desperately tried to somehow use the broken foot of the broken foot of the statue for grinding! :grin:

I suggest you to make it possible to quickly move the character by double left clicking, or just make the character move faster for your future games, so that the walking around would be less tedious.
Otherwise, great looking game, we need more of these, since they prove how AGS can be used for higher screen resolution/gfx quality games!   :)

@Dave, I don't see a reason why, in a way even this thread shouldn't exist, I just felt it would be rude not to not respond to all you nice people who welcomed me back to AGS. Although, it would be funny, that's for sure! :P

1. Kelly Scarf Face by Cassiebsg - the scariest of all the criminals, really.
2. NYALARTHOTEP by Mandle - also quite scary...
3. "Swollen Eye" by Tabata - obviously violent creature, and scary.

Is there an audience for the more xxx games of this kind?
Dear Slasher,
If you were a game company developer that invests a lot of money into their games, surveys and target audiences would be important... even this does not apply to everyone though.
But, since you are an indie developer, and your tools and material are/or almost free, you can make whatever you want.  :shocked: Whatever you feel like making. You can't lose anything, really.
Except, of course, if you are living in North Korea, or some conservative country, where your works (creations) are regulated, censored.  :X
That's my opinion.

What a wonderful experience; I was thinking about Albert Camus the entire game, and then

it was all confirmed in the credits.

There is one more ending, which is probably the real ending because it has credits. There might be more endings though, I'm not sure!

Hi Shaun,
I've finished the game, and I have questions about one puzzle.
Spoiler
how does the device that pumps the water into pools under the statues work? I managed to activate it by randomly clicking the buttons, since I found no clues or manual on how it works. Was that intentional or did I miss the clues/manual? I'm curious! :confused:

Otherwise the story and everything else in the game was excellent, I think. The graphics being the best part of it, for me.
I especially liked the plot twist when...
Spoiler
the duck kills Lou. :-D
