Currently there is no problem. Only a conversation about something I noticed in AGS that I never seen before.

@calin: But wouldn't the scripts effect the save too?

I think you have to edit AGS it's self for that. I do agree with you though cause at times I can't tell if it's red or black.

If you guys think it's a problem then that's cool with me. If you want it over there then maybe you can ask for this  to be moved. I just sorta think it's cool however if it harms my game then yeah it's a problem.

Finally I can release the Demo. There a few graphics missing from the game cause I haven't made them yet. I am aware of the spelling errors as well. There is no Music btw as I couldn't think of songs to fit the demos. I will play around with this later on however so the demo won't be so silent.

Just let me know what you think.

It didn't sound rude. I actually feel kinda stupid as there was two lines below it that had the = sign in it. I got caught up in the variables so I thought that was the problem.

Ohh that's right. I forgot about the (=) sign.

I can' comment on that part about me being lazy cause that was like a minute ago(a while ago)

When I try to run the game I get any error message. I think it has to do something with the last two variables.

I made 2 buttons on a GUI (Save, Load) I played the game within the editor. When I clicked Save and then load it worked just how I wanted it to work. 20 min of more script/GUI editing  I went to test the Buttons. However I hit load first instead of save. What happened was that the game was able to load a previous save with out the new changes. usually when you make a least one change to anything in the game it's not able to load any thing that doesn't have the exact edits as the next.

I can take a hint. If you read through what I said up there you would know that this comes last. I am not changing anything btw about AGS. I am making a short side game that will run on the PSP. The reason to this is because my OSD2 game wont even make it pass the first line on the PSP with out crashing. Therefore if I make a small side game that involves less things then it will work. I don't need this taking up my time at finishing the games neither.

Also I was going to check but whether see for myself. Because all I did was make that button on the menu. If it doesn't work then I don't care. I'll just remove the button from there. It's that easy.

Today I was working on my game. I was working on some menu stuff ad thought I should test it. When I went to go Debug the game everything I worked on was working just fine. I tried pressing the save button and the the load button. That also worked however there was one thing I noticed this time around that I never seen during my time of using AGS. After doing a lot of other work on the game I went to start it up. I tried clicking the load button just for the hell of it and it actually worked! however it loads the state from the previous edit. Therefore the new changes are not seen in this state.

Sorry is I didn't explain this well enough. I can try to explain it better if you want.

Most of you may know by now that jjs has released a program that allows you to play you AGS games on a PSP. I was thinking that maybe I could find a way to make that useful for this game. Because most games don't work on the PSP so there is no telling whether or not this OSD game(PC game) will run on the PSP.


P.S. That is not a logo. That is a button to start the PSP game.


Though this is an idea it wont actually be tried until later. I was thinking I could make a side game that is short like the OSD games and it will only run on a PSP. I have the code set up in the game to check to see if you are on WIN or a PSP. If you are running the game on a PC then you will get a error, telling you to run the game on the PSP.

Now here is the thing. I don't know what jjs program runs on. Like does the game run using like linux or something or is the PSP the same as windows? Because if Linux or something the game will work cause like I said before it checks for windows.

The first time I played I ended up getting all the items some how. The second time I had to "Cheat"

New problem. Running out then Walking back into the room after the crash part seems to make the room looks like it did before that part. Only thing is the guards are gone, there is that light, And the robot is hiding yet it can still talk.

I get this feeling that is wall is an obj with a baseline of 1. Have the room check right before you enter it to see if bsavebtn(or something like that) is visible. If true then wall should be visible however if false then the wall should be hidden. As for the robot I don't know what to say.

P.S. Debugging is still on.

Lmao at the scientist at the end of the game.

I think there should be a lazy chubby scientist in the corner of the room who just sits there eating chips even though hes supposed to be working.



P.S. I still got to edit the scientist. And Tabatha I think he is tall it's just that the other guy has a ...Big head :D
