I've created a twitter to update news on just PMQ games and it's spin-off games. I thunks is a lot more better to have just a twitter to talk about my stuff instead of having one for personal stuff and game stuff.

Hey snarky, on my part I say take your time dude, I don't if I ever posted this but my plan was to work on everything in my game like art,code, puzzles and such. I plan to leave spaces open for battles all I have to do is save that stuff for last cause it'll take most of my dev time away.

But on topic, I made a walking animation for him but I don't know how you guys be uploading the animations like that. Well I have a theroy and I'm pretty sure it's that way cause it's the simplest way to upload or make a gif.

Sorry you guys, it's not that I was really looking for someone to do it for me but more of an example. It's easy to find a 3D character in a robe walking but I couldn't find a 2D character. I typically have problems with walking views anyways. I was more of looking for a explanation or a example. Which is something I've gotten a few times before with different things. The one thing I never thought about do was "Animate him without the robe first" but AnasAbdin also suggested a few tips that would prove helpful.And even though chicky made the view that is more of the example I needed. So I can't do anything now but I'll take a shot at it when I get home.

So I'm having trouble making a walking view for this guy. I just can't seem to figure out away to make it seem like hes walking. Since I made the character I know the straps are not keeping his legs in one small place but I just usually end up having a hard time giving people with robes walking views.

Well that's why I said that was a bad example. Cause I could just make what I said into a cutscene showing the A.I go and preform that task. Or have the player manually take control of the A.I and go that task. I've done it that way before, it's just I couldn't think of a better example. What I'm really looking for or to do is making a "active" command that won't pause the game just to control the A.I.

So I'm looking for a module or plug-in that would let me have certain character preform a task. Like let's say that in a game: The main character had to go through a locked door and the only way to open it was from another location, like on a platform above the door. The A.I character would go to that area and begin rotating a lever which opened the door. The door would stay open as long as the A.I. held the Lever so the main character needed to find a blockage that would hold the door open for good.

In a sense that's a bad example cause I just thought about another way to do this without a Module but instead having the player control the A.I character. I'm sure there's other better examples but I'm hoping that anyone would get the gist of what I'm asking for.

Good point, it's easy put in the game cause it would just be copy and paste but you bring up a vaild point. If it the game get's enough attention after then free version or what ever I plan to do with it will have a that feature.

UPDATE March 15/13 

So I've finally been able to jump into the begin part of the game. I've finished the main menu and I'm working on the intro. All battle rooms are gonna be open and unedited until Snarky finishes the module this way I can focus on the design and coding.

Here's a look the main menu.



Online: I was thinking and I want to try and throw a players chat room in the game. Players can talk to about stuff in the game and stuff, idk.

Extra: I fully thought about what I want to put in this option but 1 thing I was thinking mainly about was throwing in concept art work that wen't into the game into the exrta room. And if I have some spare time at the end then maybe I would import demo of PMQ Legends or something( I really wanted to use Fantasy Dough, the final version but I can't cause the music is by Square. ) Sure I could always look for royaltyfree music but most music can't give off that same feeling that you get from a FF song IMO. I've been looking and I just haven't found or heard much of what I need.

I haven't read everything but snarky I could send you over a ff6 rom with ff6 rom editor if that'll help you out. There's a lot of stuff the editor can do. I was able to put dave in the game as a playable character but the point is it may be useful.

Also FF4 has the atb system, never really liked it that much to get threw it but I think it has a simpler version of the FF6 atb system being the fight game in the series to actually implant it.
