Wow - looks huge and very complex. Love the art style - perfect for dark comedy.

Ok since Ascovel is taking his time i'll just leave this here. Buggy but fantastic game.

Sorry about that. Busy days, completely forgot about this thread... :embarrassed:

That's Shadow of the Comet btw. Possibly he best horror game ever made.

I can't really think of anything off the top of my head that's been too gratuitous.

The poses Pod's prostitutes did to the camera were the very definition of gratuitous.

More like disturbing surreal horror fantasy branch of Giallo with the popular Giallo themes of madness and alienation.

The italian version will be online 9 May on Zodiac.

It should be called The Giallo version.

To me the project looks pretty boring, even tho these are obviously professional graphic artists, animators and music/sfx people behind the game.

I'd much rather kickstart one of you guys instead.

That's no spaceship! This one is a fake!

One simple thing that would make it much better - They should have adapted Skyrim instead.

General Discussion / Re: Game Developer? Why?
Sun 12/05/2013 09:17:20
Because it allows me to create a sense of an alternative broken, nonsensical reality that's actually holding together and is bound by onscure rules.

Also, working on my games is like a cool open world role-play game in which I'm a real game developer - a figure I admired a lot during my childhood (especially LucasArts developers).

I'm working on something bright and watery for this. During weekends, so it won't be huge.
#156
I really like the simplicity of the skeleton sprites.
#157
How high are the stakes?
#158
I think the left arm is a bit weird. Other than that very nice sprite.

Easy. Eternam.

I mostly don't like him because of the drama he put on concerning the production of Fez. Including claims he'll kill himself if he doesn't get to finish the game. And the terrible TRAGEDY of having the game overhyped. So much that he felt he deserved a 2nd go in the IGF.

Also, for telling with a straight face that being good friends with the organizer of IGF and a good number of the judges doesn't give him any advantages in the competition.
