I don't know what happens in the comics, I guess they have it there, but it was a bit jarring to have "cartoon" characters shooting and waving guns at each other. I guess I am not used to that.

The Tintin comics can be jarring to today's audience in a lot of ways as most of them have been created even before the war. I mean many of the episodes not only have violence, but also all kinds of racism, animal cruelty (despite many of the animals having human like minds) and propaganda bits.

That's also why I think a Spielberg version can't possibly stay true to the original.

I'll only buy this if each game has a cake for an icon.

What about the song that you can hear during the credits? Was it the main theme?

The pirate looks even meaner, with what appears to be an open zipper and his willy out....   

Oh my! That pirate not only has his willie out, but he's also peeing blood in such a way that it forms the shape of a pointed arrow and the letters "ARR" ("...ROW"?)

It's also significantly better than Graham Chapman's Yellowbeard. If you only watch one beard-colour-titled film this year, make it Red Beard.

And there was some Italian pirate film called Barbarossa (Red Beard) as well.

Now I get which director and actor you are talking about, but I clearly never seen this film, or even know the title.

The whole film is worth watching though. The producers should've sued Harry Potter when they still had the chance.

Yes, that's the scene I was thinking of. Ironically, I was 99% sure it can't be from such a recent film - I just wrote about the first film that came into my mind based on that image.
