We're not all from INGARLARND here, Eggie. I think "mainstream" must mean some different movies in your country.

Anyway, sorry that I McGoogled the whole thread, but it didn't seem like anyone was going to guess it.

Something sweet/creepy to soften the blow:

Looks Twilight Zonish.

But I have not a clue what it is.

EDIT: I found the Twilight Zone version - look!

EDIT2: Alright, I fought my way to it through google: It's Dead of Night!

I must confess I never heard of it - apparently the first ever horror film anthology (from 1945) - so it goes straight onto my to-watch list.

I understand you're the "fellow indie developer"? For a second there I thought you're asking for help for a friend and got confused over the  meaning of the whole message.

I like the look of the characters. Reminds me of certain Polish comic book series I read as a kid.

Wonderful stuff! I vote for making this the official song of the Baker's Bundle!

If we are already deciding to make regular bundles, it would be useful to have some financial goals planned for them too.

Otherwise it's pretty weird to be planning them, don't you think?

Please post the pic of the same room, but from the opposite side. I'd like to have some idea how the rest of it looks.

Showgirls?

There's no new goal set yet.  But I'm sure it's just a temporary state and the money won't be lost.

If it will be something for AGS, it could be for instance paying to create features for new AGS versions.

Finally! :)

Looks like a snowspeeder cockpit shot from The Empire Strikes Back.

You really should get Trilby's Notes to run - it's the best of the series by far.

In addition I'd recommend:

- Infinity String - a sci-fi with some dark, heavy themes and scary monsters
- Heartland - a short horror story
- Mind's Eye - a psychological horror set in an insane asylum

Also, try my and Baron's Snakes of Avalon - while not totally dark and depressing (it's primarily a black comedy about alcoholism and murder), there are good reasons it's been compared to Merry Christmas, Alfred Robbins:

Oh, and if you can afford paying a bit, you should really try:

- Downfall (disturbing, gory horror)
- the Blackwell series (4 games in total, dark mysteries and lots of ghosts of people who ended their lives on an unhappy note)
- Gemini Rue (another dark sci-fi - this time cyberpunk style)

all of those have free demos available

These backgrounds rock! (and the sprites ain't shabby either). The amount of texture on everything - love it!

Looks excellent!

I already want to hug Cuddles! His eyes look so sad.

And man is that monkey wench in a handy shape!

Was there a Toya Toya in the original? I only remember Lifepartner Ray.
