Nah, I just have problems working on a game when I'm depressed, sleepy or bored by the mundane bits.

I googled the actor on the right and found the title, but that probably shouldn't count.

Why not something like this?

With the entirety of human language at your disposal, why bother with the symbolistics of pretty pictures? This is why children don't read anymore! :=

I'm totally going to use this cursor in my next game!

And now I'm going to propose a brilliant alternative concept that nobody came up with yet...  A fist!

Well, they could have at least made the costumes dirty and smelly and tell the stars that they can't wash their hair for the time of filming.

Hey, I recognize some of the faces in that article there!  :o

What is this kiddie stuff? Where's Merlin's super-serious wizard look? Unacceptable!

The authentic, mature Merlin has a manly beard, fearsome gaze and uses Latin incantations:

Well I don't know about you, but when I was little the duel between Merlin and Mim gave me the chills...well not as much as Carbina Burana at the begining of Excalibur, but still not pleasant.

I'm not sure if that's the kind of chills you mean, but I remember as a kid I was very afraid of Mim, her cat form, and her sudden transformations from a sexy dancer to the "maximal uglification" form.

As for Excalibur I couldn't very well deal with the crazy things going in there until I was well past kindergarten. btw Nicol Williamson was an excellent (and unique) Merlin too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjsiGd8iAfs

That looks like Tony Leung, so I would like to think it's a Wong Kar Wai movie, hence - Ashes of Time?

Correctomundo!

Though Tony Leung is a major star in Asia, so you shouldn't have put so much trust in his Wong Kar Wai connection. ;)

Don't forget all the DRM stuff and AppStore censorship.

By the time that stuff got created Jobs was mostly a face attached to a huge company. I wouldn't blame him too much for Apple's bad ideas of recent years. For the good ideas either.

Also, Apple tried to sue Samsung out of selling their tablet because it looked too similar to their iPad. Turns out Samsung designed a digital photo frame a decade ago that looks exactly like the iPad.

I'm sure that wasn't mean-spirited. I's just how corporations + copyright laws work. Someone notices that the full time hired lawyers don't have anything to do - "hey, let's see if we can sue someone!"

For example Bethesda has sued the Minecraft guys over using the word "scrolls" recently. Every promising opportunity to sue someone is cool. Especially for a billion of dollars or so.

Really!? It's Howard!? :)

Would you believe it was a wild guess? ;)

I mean I guessed Moontrap without ever hearing that movie title before.

Pretty cool for an animal flick. Made me remember that documentary where Walt Disney ordered his team to push lemmings off the cliff to achieve ultra-realism.

What was badly designed about the Full Throttle fights? Opponents' weaknesses and specific weapons' advantages might have been better hinted, but I thought it was pretty well done considering it was all shown just through animation.
The "design" and concept of it may have been fine (this works against that, this works against that, etc.), but the actual mechanics and implementation of it were horrible. Am I the only one who remembered this? Having to align exactly so as to be able to hit one point on the other bike EXACTLY, otherwise the hit wouldn't register, and no actual visual indicator of where was what? The frustrating feeling that unless you got the weapon with the very longest reach (I don't remember what it was anymore, but I remember it was the only one I used after that, and I'm not talking about the final weapon), all your shots would fall short?
It can't just have been me, I remember even Tim Schafer admitting as much in an interview he did about Psychonauts.

Hmm... I don't remember it being that clunky. I remember it being at least much less clunky than Psychonauts though. :)

Maybe I am a "typical" girl about this, but I prefer using poison, create traps or something else without a "real" fight to get rid of my enemies  ;)

Stealh games style of play then? Could work great too.
