Huh, i'm late this year (this was supposed to be a christmas card, heh)...
Anyway, here's a little Flash "game" (900 kb).
It's very simple (graphicaly and playing-wise), but well... that's what you get when you have only 5 days to finish it ;)

New Year Card

Fantastic music is by Loominous, btw (thanks again!)
Have a great New Year :)

Critics' Lounge / New website design
Wed 26/11/2003 18:51:51
Here is its temporary location: http://maniac.adventuredevelopers.com/igor/index.htm
It's far from finished (only one link work for now and not all pics.. but there's nothing new anyway).

The site will stay this way for some time, as i don't have time to finish it at the moment... but that doesn't mean suggestions and critics are not welcomed- quite contrary! Rip it apart ;D

If possible, view it in 1024x768 or above resolution.

General Discussion / HTML question
Sat 22/11/2003 17:30:17
I'm just working on my web site and i stumbled into a problem- at the moment, no matter what i try, html always add a line under text links...
So i was wondering if there's a way to make text links without that blasted under-line?

Thanks in advance!

Critics' Lounge / Playing with Poser
Tue 30/09/2003 16:42:35
I was just playing with Poser today and found out it really improved since the version 2 i tried a few years back.
You have now much greater control over characters and can create them from beginning (with bones) or you can deform existing ones (more sucessfully than in previous versions), add your textures, create your hair, etc...
In general it's much less limiting and it gives you more freedom (cartoony characters are now completely possible). While, naturally, it still can't compete with full feature 3d programs, it's quite powerful and especially fun to use.
Anyway- here's one i just did:

If any of you did some stuff with Poser feel free to post here :)

Critics' Lounge / Graphic tablet question
Sat 20/09/2003 12:22:27
I just upgraded my comp (after my old one started to act funny) and naturaly i now have to install everything from a start...
Now a question- i have Wacom graphic tablet (Graphire A5) and i can't really remember if i got some CD with drivers along with it (i bought it quite some time ago)... the only cd i can find is the one with Painter Classic i got with tablet. Can somebody who own Wacom Graphire tell me if there should be another cd, and if not, how the hell do i force comp to recognize tablet?

Thanks! :)

Critics' Lounge / Ignac trailer
Thu 10/07/2003 12:31:31
Is it a bird? Is it a ten ton hamster with giant haemorrhoids? No! It's Ignac trailer (first part of intro). Go check it out here:
http://maniac.adventuredevelopers.com/trailer.htm

Sadly, the music in this trailer is only temporary, but hopefully it will be soon replaced with new one (the mood will be very similar anyway). Ah, and here are some more character sketches from game:

Enjoy!

Critics' Lounge / Ignac screen
Sat 28/06/2003 10:43:19
Soon there will be uploaded a non-playable teaser trailer of the upcoming Ignac2... so, as a little before-taste, here's one screen from playing part of the game.
To be completely honest, i'm not really satisfied with such look. I wanted to use Painter for backgrounds, but it's so damn slow on my computer, that it was close to useless (sometimes i had to wait for 3 seconds to see applied lines/colors, which makes Painter (that works on classical coloring principal- color above mixes with color underneath) impossible to use.

Hints & Tips / Help with 6 Day Assassin
Sat 05/10/2002 10:44:47
A few months after downloading this game, i'm still stuck as fat Santa in too tight chimney.

I have: plank with nail and a gun... and no idea what to do now.

Oh, and only post a straight solution, no "hints"... I would just like to finnish this freaking game (which is great, btw.)

Here's my first little AGS game. Ok, it's not really a game- more of a little learning project, to try out interface, interaction scripting, and generaly to grasp the basics of program… however there's also one easy puzzle for you to solve (the game has its »ending«, so you'll know when you'll done everything there is).

*********************
INTERFACE:

-ESC brings up the menu (be sure to check it out)
-LEFT CLICK to Walk (or exit in a new room, when exit arrow is available)
-DOUBLE LEFT CLICK to Talk/Interact/Use Inventory Item
-RIGHT CLICK to Look (or if you have selected inventory item, that's how you get rid of it)
-click on little »i« icon in the left bottom corner of the screen to bring up inventory (or press »i« button on keyboard).

RESOLUTION: 640x400, hi-colors. I think you shouldn't have (too big) problems with speed (it runs reasonably good on Celeron 200Mhz… not great, but bearable).

There's now new version of PD game... with voices!
Thanks to Roderick Leermakers (aka Flux) and his sexy voice (although a bit less sexy in this game ;) )! He did great job :)

Game with speech pack can be downloaded here (3,7 mb):
maniacco.tripod.com/downloads/PDvoice.zip --(copy&paste in browser)
or
