That's pretty much it, yes :)

I accidentally killed myself after playing for 999 hours :(

And here's an example from Discworld2:
http://maniac.adventuredevelopers.com/disworld.jpg

As Chrille said, it's similar as normal text-dialog options, except you have icons for different topics (btw, it would be nice if they could be animated for mouse-over :)).
For example- when you start talking you have a few icons available, later as you "unlock" new topics, new icons appear.

Yes, i wanted to use SamnMax/Broken Sword/Discworld2 style of dialog interface too, but i later decided not to, as it would currently require too much additional scripting work (if it would be even possible).
So, one more vote from me :)

Haven't play it yet (i want to see intro first), but start of introduction sequence looks like a lot of fun! Fix it, fix it! ;)

Pessi- as you probably already know, i truly admire your background drawing skills... and again- fantastic work! It's hard to comment on general style, because i don't know how does game's characters look like (and how will they work on background), but as stand alone drawing it's perfect! Unique and interesting.

Cute drawing! I realy like its sketchy feel.
My minor complaint would be that lines look a bit too insecure. I would add another stroger and cleaner shape above sketchy lines to better describe the figure. Other than that, it's great :)

The first one is awe!

Gorgeous :)
As about light- it works on this picture perfectly and that's all that matters.

Great idea! It would spare lots of time.

Smashing style! Love it

OTG: I don't think Neole is drawing those sketches to please others- he draw what he likes to draw... That's the whole fun of it :) Second pic probably wouldn't be any better if there'd be 2 ripping males (instead of girls) "piercing" themselves with swords ;)

Talking about SpeechBackground: is there any way to not make all the background speech appear at the same time- without using any Wait command?
I have some background characters in game that should talk with each other every now and then, but they should not interfere (pause) the game.
I figure this could be done with timer. But i'm still wondering if there's some other way to do the same?

Must say i prefer zips too.
Btw, amazing job on optimization! Some screens where i have a few quite big characters (and walkbehinds) now run almost without any slowdown!
I also love some of the new features (especially names for GUIs (much easier to remember) and 6 sound channels).

Great sketches as always :)

Great drawing! Love the composition and the overall feeling of pic.

My little complaint would be color choices. The way it is now, picture looks a bit too flat (for the style you are using). In my opinion it would add much more depth if you'd use more blue on the mountains, so they would fade a bit into the sky.
Here's a quick example of what i had in mind- hope you don't mind (modifications were done in Flash, so you'll have to excuse it's sloppiness ;)): http://maniac.adventuredevelopers.com/Helm.jpg

If you'd add more wariety in close foreground and maybe make clouds a bit more blue too (to add more depth) it would probably work even better.

Anyway just suggestions, it rocks already as it is.

Hehe, thanks guys  ;D I knew you'll agree it's the best game ever.

Scummbuddy- yeah, i had an idea some time ago, about making a little game (or a secret area in full game) that would take place inside of Ignac writing pad- you'd have to draw yourself a door to exit etc. With similar shaky graphics as here, except not quite as horrible ;)
But i'll see about that.

Joacim:
Spoiler
There are two solutions to this puzzle:
1. either you combine nuts, dead squirrel and drunken dwarf to get a rocket... which will lounch you into orbit, where it will run short of gas and you'll fall back on the ground.

2. or you jump from the tree.

All Lucasarts games had this 'X' factor, as did the Discworld games (although the 2nd was a little iffy)
Really? I liked the second one best. First one was good too, but puzzles were so obnoxious that i had to use walkthrough all the time.

I'm just playing it and so far i love it :) Really nice graphics & ambient sounds, interesting story and great puzzles! The atmosphere somehow reminds me on Broken Sword.
Great work!
