I need help for a Vista issue. My games are cosmos quest 1, 2 and 3 and I'm using AGS 2.72. I received a question in my game forum. Please help me. Here is the message:

"i really enjoy the music, but i can't play the game cosmos quest 1, because when i click with the mouse i just see the text message appearing for a tenth of a second and just flickering.

by clicking about 20 times i can sometimes read what it says.

its the same with when i click on help in the upper right corner.

its not playable like that.

i use vista 32bit ultimate enterprise edition at work."

I just want to share what happened around 1 year ago. Someone wrote an article about Cosmos Quest in Wikipedia. In that article there was a link to the website of Cosmos Quest and a screenshot from the game. That article was included in many other wikipedia articles. My stats showed many visitors from that page and I was very happy about it. Then a wikipedia editor deleted that page . For a every article deletion in wikipedia there is an explanation from the wikipedia editor. The explanation for the deletion of the article of my game was something like "The game is not notable. This game hasn't been awarded by the AGS". I don't want to argue if my game is notable or not. I just want to stress on how AGS Awards are important!!!

My advice: Every game that has an AGS award should have an article in wikipedia. Then include that article in all other related articles in wikipedia - adventure games, AGS article and etc. This will increase your website stats. I guaratee.

The first adventure game that I've played - Larry 1. I played it on CGA monitor - no colors - only shades of green And I think that on CGA monitors the old games look much better than on EGA (16 colors). Now I'm trying to find a old PC with CGA monitor to run the old adventures again And I think that I can find an old 16bit PC in some factories here in Bulgaria where I live.

This error appears when the compiled game is starting. Please help me. What this error means?

Please help me. I can't decide which one is better for an adventure game. In my games Cosmos Quest I and Cosmos Quest II there are no hotspot labeling. I decided not to show it. But I received lot of critics about that. Now I'm making Cosmos Quest III. Do you think that hotspots labeling will increase the quality of the game. I will appreciate your opinions.

Does AGS 2.7 created games are compatible with Windows Vista?

Year - 1991. Location - Zlatograd, Bulgaria. Me and my friend Todor Kumanov are playing Space Quest I. We reached Ulence Flats. We did everything there. All we didn't know was the sector that the droid ask. We tryed everithing, exept many times talking in the bar. These times there was no internet, walkthroughs and hints. Especialy in the most southern bulgarian town - Zlatograd. So we decided to use a DOS program PC-TOOLS to view the files of Space Quest. What is in there?. This file is a long string of understanduble things like "2@$^54 64 @63%464563 dj46$%^kj45l$%j 6644@#lkj6". But after hours of searching, sudenlly we came across some understandable words like "use", "talk", "buckazoids","orat" and e.t.c. Then something appeared "HH". We didn't know what is it, but we knew that it is something important. So we try it and...YES! It was the sector. Few hours later we reach the end of Space Quest I.

That was my story of solving HH sector puzzle. I hope that this story will turn back the time of 90's  - the good old adventure times.

I'm trying to add Cosmos Quest II in the game database. But when i fill all fields, the site gives me this "Field 'committeecomment' doesn't have a default value". Please help.

The story continues where the first chapter suddenly ends. The Federation is still strong, but the Rhomulians (thanks to you - Apo Lanski) are coming out of the ignorance of their Sun dying! You are back on the Radion Space Station and have the captain's orders - "Join the crew on Pitla!".

The Sun slowly fade out under submission of a black hole that no one knew before.
