Guys,

Everything in this world is going down... Let's not count the users. I'm always saying that I'm happy to create a games. The only problem that I see is the updating the AGS for the newest Windows platforms. And I really don't care how much younger users will join AGS community. As long as I'm happy to create, everything is fine.

I forgot to mention that all GUIs (save, load, quit and game messages) are revisited. They are not applied to the CQ4 demo. They will be visible with the whole game when it's released.

Really atmospheric screenshots, I look forward to playing this after enjoying the first 3 games...
Will this be commercial or a freeware? What have you concluded from your 3rd game experiment?

Thank you all for the comments! Cosmos Quest 4 will be freeware.

My comment on the BG would really be with the colours used...

Completely agree with Calin. This makes the scene more authentic.

Andrei Chikatilo suffered from a rare disease. His DNA taken from the blood didn't mach to the DNA from his sperm. He was arrested few times, but then released, because the DNA didn't match to the DNA found in sperm in victims' bodies.

CJ: "So, over the last year or so it has been becoming increasingly clear that I no longer have the time to maintain and improve AGS"

The time is the problem... and when the time is a problem.. it's a real problem. In some cases the time problem can be solved with "giong commercial"...
Unless you already have a fulltime job your satisfied with, and which pays more, which seems to be the case here.

I'm saying "in some cases"... cause I don't know the financial state of CJ...

I'm changing my opinion from "I would buy AGS. If it goes commercial, I'll buy it." to "I WANT AGS to go commercial. I'll buy it.".

Oh, Chroma Key, nice!
I usually listen to jazz an something like Ozric Tentacles when I'm translating. As long as it's instrumental, I can't really have unrelated word messing me up when I'm working with texts. But when I do something like homework, I usually listen to Renaissance (the band). They're really inspiring, great compositions, I recommend!

Ozric Tentacles are great! Super rhythm sections!

What is the music or songs that inspires you to create your stories. One of the tunes that inspires me most is this:

PS: Sorry if there is another thread for this.

First, I want to say, that I like very much the newest version of AGS. Whatever happen, I'll have this version of AGS and together with the wonderful modules and plugins (especially tween module) I can do what I like.

But I understand the need of development. And I think that the best thing to do in the situation is "open source", but with supervising of CJ. I'm afraid of possible "chaos" in AGS editor.

This is my opinion. Sorry about my strange english.

AGS Games in Production / Re: The Second Man

Who cares about the size of the buttons. As long the game is interesting, and screenshots are great - everthing is fine. Everyone here prefer to say "Everthing good, BUT.......then 2-3 lines critics about something not so important. Criticism is good, but the good words are the thing that makes author to create with a pleasure.

Great! I just watched the intro in youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_rjYD1Z9T8

Great job! Nice voices - characters and narrator. It's good to see that Space Quest world is alive!

Is there a nomination for the best demo?

Right-click the "Scripts" node in the project tree and choose "Import script", then select the tween.scm file and AGS will create the script and header in your scripts list.

I got it. Thank you GarageGothic. It's easy.
