LEDs are light. If mounting not directly onto wall but some solid surface, use simple  thick 2-sided tape. With some hot water you can get it easily off afterwards.
Angle I don't know. Just test. Mine work better when directly upwards and I mounted them onto top and bottom of little shelf on the wall behind monitor to have some light and save eyes.
I didn't even use all length of a tape but just little pieces here and there so it's easier to remove if I want.

I'm spending money on any wacomish stuff only after they get rid of pressure-sensitve pen and replace with something that truly feels natural. Right now, it very much feels like drawing onto cave wall with a stick.

Intuos 4 wireless I have is a mint condition paper weight/dust collector right now  
I admit, it's absolutely awesome for 3D sculpting, like with Zbrush or Autodesk Mudbox, but not so much for drawing since you have to watch both screen and your hand and I never got the feel of it...  Pity I have no use for 3d scultping right now!

Darken the stone wall on right. This sign is too much "where's waldo" right now, blending totally into building.
Lack of light contrast was first problem with Quest for Glory-like backgrounds and you, emulating Sierra-style, are doing exact same mistake.

I so much like first image more with barrels and L-house. It felt way cozier and detailed. Also, somewhat closed area feels more like a town. And - house on second image feels... mirrored, too symmetrical. Even though tree balances much-needed green tones in image.

You can draw alright but don't know a simple rule: if it's good enough, nobody gives a two shits about perspective. Most important about any picture is that it's interesting and pretty.


What I'd do -- I'd keep the house of first image, BUT extend a pole from rightmost building and remake tavern sign so it would face directly player. Right now it feels like piece of the wall due perspective and I noticed that it's a sign long after first impressions of the image...



Like this. Add enough vibrant colors and detail to the sign, and nobody even notices the square up there. It's all about controlling the eye and keeping it on nicest parts of image.
Also I'd remove some snow (bluish lines) to make it feel more like it's much-used road and continues right. And maybe even use a tiny bit of that tree on far right edge.

Well, why do you want to use AGS to make a cinematic platformer game? I mean, people do platform games in AGS, but as hobby and challenge, not because AGS is suited to make one. If you want to make a cinematic platformer use an engine meant to make cinematic platformers and not one made for adventure games.

Also, I seriously doubt anything over 30fps even counts in any platformer, be it most cinematic platformer in the world. Most people are quite happy with 23,97fps movies and they're probably more "cinematic" than any platformer you might make.

Quest for over 30 frames-per-second is bullshit IMO and doesn't make noticeable difference even in first-person-shooter games although millions of (dumb?) people claim it does. Convince me!

Seems that nobody was really a good guy in WWII, nazi or not. One is sure, all superpowers did major research in "how to eliminate masses of people" and got really good results.

Funny, how when during all those years I lived in Tampere it felt like quite the opposite. The city has a big tech university that covers at least 50% of the youth there, and little for girls 20+ to do. So what I've experienced in Tampere is that usually there's just guys everywhere, too much sausage on the dance floor, you know?

No it's not. I have a relative who gets out, kisses ground and hugs freedom and vows to never go back.... then he tries to find work and listens his mom nagging for few weeks, then goes "fuck it", steals car, robs a gas station with his criminal friends or does smoke runs (that's bringing contraband cigarettes over Russian border, due avoiding insane EU tax, it's actually better business than drugs), parties few days from plunder and gets caught again. He's been in this cycle for 17 years (since age of 15), serving 5th term and many of his buddies are like this too.

Truth to be told, he lives in eastmost area of Estonia that is pretty much a Soviet industrial wasteland with mostly immgrant Russian population and no other industry than chemistry and mining and he's no miner material. But yeah... repeating offenders don't really know how to live a civil life, especially if they're used being taken care of in prison.

I don't think anything but forced and then professional career in military service would save him, but he's too old to be conscripted (they deny over 27 year olds).

Sort of... While kids are getting all the misery of studying and struggle to become everything capitalist society demands of them, prisons have given birth to a whole subculture of people who spend years there, get out for a week or two, and commit crime to get back in again. They have no obligation to donate anything to society and all they do is milk it for their own welfare. Capitalist society is a bit guilty in this: a former criminal finds really hard time to find any honest work, but most don't even try. Prison life is simply too comfortable (thanks to piece of shit hippie EU "standards" that were imposed on us upon joining) to leave it and join the struggle of ordinary man.

The worse the criminal, the more likely he'll be on this path of being society's burden, because worst criminals have easier time to make his life in prison good.

To me, it feels even more absurd than that image or immortality serum. The worse the scum, the worst should be his life for this. But it's all upside down somehow.
