wtf is games galore... screen is so small

Prettier, but much less practical. For a cutscene, at best.
Glow kills rest of the room, you cannot look elsewhere much.

If on original your eyes mostly scan right wall and surroundings, here - the light is only thing to see.

Brothel Tycoon
(Actually tried to make text-based one back in QBasic days XD)

Despite controversy I find this idea awesome. All tycoon elements, hire girls, pimps, security, real estate, transportation... maybe mafia connections like in Pizza Tycoon etc

Tropico 3 rocks. No lie.
First and second - not so much.

Played all of them... :P

Theme hospital rocks... despite getting seriously broken, especially at later stages (those doctors are NEVER happy, forget their assigned offices and objective system is a strange mess)

I especially liked Pizza Tycoon. If it had any system around it at all, it wouldn't have been best tycoon-game ever. Sadly, there was none, opponents cheated with money, you could stack your restaurant to the point where it was impossible for customers to move and still rack 400 orders a day, etc. Break the game. Hot-seat multiplayer made it still awesome though.

Rollercoaster tycoon had a lot of fun in it too, but worked better as a level/coaster editor... I never cared about money part.

Dungeon Keeper is more of a real-time strategy game, but absolute favourite also. Pity there's no part 3: DKII looks incredibly ugly and plays worse than original.

Sorry for the double post.

Some update, and also Photobucker banned my swastika image.

I fail to see ANY difference

For wrinkles, you can use something to stretch it out. A weight or something to push corners.
Like soliders put newspapers folded into stiff sticks into edges of bed to pull bedsheet straight (so it'd look super neat).

Also, lighting is the key. The less you cast a shadow to the screen, the easier to work. Use paper over lamps to diffuse light, fluorescent light if you can access any (they aren't that expensive) -- to have more natural and less yellow light, etc.

As far as you are right now, I'd say this sprite looks quite good actually... simply the work to get there - when compared to your screen results - feels like too much for such simple thing.

Swastika is not the issue.

I'm somewhat undecided on first bg and absolutely love the third.
HOWEVER, it's a bit too blurry.

With such realism, I'd expect a bit more detail. Door is very well done, but wall panels mix too much and overall feeling is like painting left into rainfall.

If feels like desktop wallpaper -- designed to blend in -- gives lots of ambience, but has no "face", no anything to particularly "look at"... That's what is missing! This isn't a wallpaper, it's not supposed to be faceless.

Add little details, shiny and sharp doorknob, thingy here and there and you have a perfect result. You have perfect canvas, now add content!

(I hope my point came through this messy brick of text)

sssh! don't ruin the mystery

Police quest 1-3! Especially 2.

SCI versions felt even worse than first game.

Dunno why, never liked SCI.
16 colors on AGI felt retro, on higher SCI resolution just ugly. When 256 colors came, games got pretty, but then control started showing its age...
Also, PQIII was badly done. It wasn't the graphics, but simply horrible gameplay.

Blue Force, similar game also by Jim Walls had pretty much same graphics, but ended up times more enjoyable, because I didn't have to wrestle game (rules) itself so much and could concentrate on story. Nor trip endless screens of nothing useful.

This reasoning is what bothers me most about the "why" people smoke.  If you need something like smoking to create a common bond, then you've lost before you started.  How about "hey we're all humans, we have something in common!" or "You have eyes?  Me too!!"

This is totally not about "why".
"Why" does occur, but when to-be-smoker is a dumb kid and tries to be like cool kids.
This is absolutely different and is not what I said.

If there's anything useful in smoking - this. Native americans knew it 300 years ago.

Smoker, about pack a day. If I tick more than normal day, staying up at night, amount of smoking triples as I get more tired.

Managed to stop for awhile.

Not that hard really, all I needed was wagonload of heavily salted and roasted sunflower seeds. Eating them all the time like Fox Mulder on X-files really distracts from smoking (you cannot smoke and "eat" same time!), plus mouth full of salt kills taste of tobacco even if you do smoke so you cannot enjoy it. "survive" for 3-4 days, stay away from alcohol (ooh, my head! Now where did that pack disappear last night? But I quit?) and you'll do fine.

For me, I realized I'm not really wanting to give up yet, so I went back. Also, non-smokers are those idiots who sit and work, while smokers group takes a 10-minute break in every hour or so and has fun chatting outside... :P

As for smokers, I clearly see 2 different types of smokers. The ones that grab for a pack every morning, ready to kill if it ain't there, and fake-smokers who - depending on occasion - can go a day or more without. First group is tough case - hard to quit, serious addiction. Second group - idiots. If I could go day without smoking, I would quit at this very moment! Why do it if you still DO have way out?

Another good time to quit is during common cold -- in heavier cases, I haven't smoked those 3 or 4 days I'm sick, simply because fever & infection has taken over addiction and I don't want to.

EDIT: Also, If I were in your shoes, I would have no problem quitting. Lack of noble cause is what foiled my quit-experiments so far. Cancer %, skin, lungs, teeth etc doesn't sound important enough, because I'm not someone important to preserve. A baby in the house or doctor's serious warning would whole another ballpark though.

I'm getting this too.

Still, instead of forcing ALL people to block the site, troublemakers should remove references to the site.

Didn't mythbusters have an episode for water walking? As far as I remember, they ended up walking on corn syrup.

Edirol Orchestral is quite solid VST...

On topic, I like what I hear! Not getting concept though.

I believe it's doable in water with very high salt concentration.
There's very few lakes like this though.
