Ever since I launched Fatman I've ...

... played Star Wars Galaxies more than any one person should have.
... taken some art classes.
... started a Roger Wilco fangame.
... had my grandfather die and cause me to question life.
... sunk into many deep depressions.
... started working out and eating right, lost 40 pounds!
... rediscovered that my wife is my only true love.
... built my own computer.
... wished I was a super hero.
... realized I'm going to grow old and die someday.
... swam in the ocean for the first time.
... attempted to create several 2d action games.
... seen my brother get married.
... watched my best friend go mental and have to be hospitalized.
... got on the front page of the cleveland newspaper for dressing up as a Jedi and doing a lightsaber duel routine.
... became a border line alcoholic.
... come to accept that I'm a dork.

Well that's all I can think of at this time. I hope the new months/years are kind to all of you, and most of all I hope to someday complete another AGS game.

Mine have to be:

1. Rob Blanc - First AGS game I ever played.
2. Larry Vales - Second AGS game I ever played.
3. Rodekill - Third AGS game I ever played.

Strange, I see a pattern.

We can always try it. Privte msg me here with your email address so I can email you. When you get the email look for the File as an attachment. You'll download the file from there.

No. I have the orginial .dll file. I have no idea what you mean when you ask to .zip it for DOS. The only thing I have is WinZip. The file is only 145k so it shouldn't be a big deal. Just need  a spot to upload it to, maybe your email inbox?

Sorry just now seen this thread. I have the orginal file I can upload you. I need somewhere to host it to.

This thread is nearly a year old, you should not bump it up.

I'm glad it did get bumped tho, I missed this game. I just beat it what a riot!

Great game. I just finished it. I loved the graphics and the humor. A couple of the puzzles had me confused, but all in all very well done. Bravo!

what I mean is I don't have download-ible internet, I use internet at school and the library, but I can't at home.

You need to get yourself a removable usb drive. :) Those are old enough now that you might be able to find one at the local thrift. I used to use the local university's high speed for downloads all the time. Just waltz in pretending to be a student and voilia!

Myself I've found The Secret of Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion, Loom, and The Legend of Robin Hood all at the local thrift. In the box and in great condition. I also got a tuxedo for my brothers wedding for only $9.50 I love thrift stores. :)

General Discussion / Re: Paint Shop Pro X
Tue 21/03/2006 00:12:20
I made all my graphics so far with Paint Shop Pro 7. I love the program. Not sure how good PSP10 is. Photoshop is more powerfull ... but then its also about x5 times the price.

I always thought the Fifth Element would make a great adventure game.

Tempting, but no.Ã,  Ionais should check on neoseeker and see if The Adventures of Fatman was published by Square-Enix.

The search reveals nothing.

I want the power to read my girlfriend's mind... And also hypnotize her at will...

I already have that power ... wait I've said too much.

I mean, every time you end up in a group of people who are all very dumb, you feel very awkward and depressingly alienated. To feel that all the time would probably drive a person to suicide.

Yeah, and if you're strong you can just pile drive the smarty pants. :)

Failing that, I'd just be Wolverine.

Lol ... classic.

Yes, you chose shape changing because you're major regret was not being born a woman!

ROFL! Too funny.

I guess my super power would be super strength. Not sure what I would do with it. I guess break lots of stuff and go on a general rampage of sorts. Sounds like fun anyhew. :)

I can't say about the hi or low rez, but you must use high color. Messing around with a palette is pure torture, esp if you want to have Al as hologram.

Great background. I really like the dithering effect you've got going. What paint program are you using?

...and on shadows. If you're going to add a shadow for one object you've got to do it for all of them. If you're going to give the plant one you'll need one for the table, windows, and even the walls. It can get to be a lot of work. I think the picture looks great but with shadows and a few more details it could be a masterpiece. I guess it just depends on how much effort you want to put into it.

1987-caliber, edmundo. he's saying they LOOK like games from 1987. And he's mostly right.

I remember when I first played Rob Blanc, and I thought to myself ... Wow, I dunno if I could ever draw that good but I'll try. Bit off subject I suppose. I couldn't help but share one of my first AGS memories.
