I'll be releasing a PC version thru steam, when I earn enough capitol to pay for full voice-overs.

EDIT: Uhm???? Why is there no winsetup file? :(

The demo is actually made from Game Maker Studio. I was originally planning on release for android. I've since changed my mind and have started putting the game together in AGS.

I have decided to use Game Maker Studio instead. Sorry folks.

SOCKO! Entertainment and Screen 7 are proud to announce...

You can play a demo of the game here. It includes the introduction and a few small puzzles, enjoy! Feedback appreciated. :-D

Looks good, myself however, I'm still waiting on a playable demo before I can make the decision to purchase. I hesitate to request a free copy or even purchase for a reduced price. It just doesn't feel right. I like supporting the point and click industry, the AGS specific games even more so.
#29
After playing the demo, I've decided that I'm going to purchase a copy. At first I admit I was a bit put off by the style of the character graphics. However, the voices, comedy and over all excellent production values won me over. I'll be back to comment later, after I play the full game.

*edit*
Well it seems I've found a disturbing bug...
Spoiler
In Act 2 the last thing on my list to fix that I figured out was the Oxygen Suit puzzle. So then in the cut scene, Ronald continued to be wearing his space suit and on board the pirate ship, I've got the annoying overlay of the oxygen meter. :( Not game breaking, just visually disrupting for my gameplay.

*edit*
And I've finished the game. I'm replaying it now with the director's commentary. I enjoyed it a lot, money well spent.

Hey Mills, welcome back indeed. It's a hard community to leave, eh?

By "a few AGSers" I mean, like two or three.

Well I know I’ve been waiting, and I guess I’ll just have to keep waiting. :(

You got me good because I didn’t even read the subject line. I just seen the game was done and found the download link as soon as I could. I then in haste proceeded to unzip it and got all hunkered down and ready to play and well you know the rest. You suck. No really, don’t listen to what any of these forum members tell you, sure your art is good and I love playing Castle of Fire but you crushed my hopes and dreams. I’m going to go sulk in a corner now. :P

...I'll have an update by tonight, but keep sharing your opinions, oh ye musicians of AGS

I’m no musician but I know a good piece of music when I hear it.

I agree this is by far the best way to vote yet, and very easy to quickly check up on any missed games.
#34
I’m still playing but so far I’ve managed the evaluation of “moron” and “expendable”, ha-ha. Anyhow, awesome game, true attention to detail, love the graphics and limey’s voice acting is superb!

You crack me up. Also there’s no need to cast away any unworthy children, they make the best slaves.

x2

Not knowing much about the character I did a real quick edit. I kept your colors the same and gave you an idea for the hair and slimed him down some. I also fixed the pant legs. Hope it helps. BTW, for your first sprite attempt it’s a very nice start.

I must admit for a second there I was expecting a thread about Mods, the person.

Yeah so was I. Imagine my disappointment when instead of reading about one of AGS’s most beloved members …. I get this, another thread gone horribly wrong.

Hey pretty cool ProgZmax, I can see where you’re going with that. Perhaps I can cut and paste one of my city backgrounds into the wall paper. I really hate busy backgrounds though, and I didn’t want to cheapen Fatman 2 by revealing any eye candy. (What little here is.) :P

… and yes MillsJROSS I love that quote of you and hey btw me and my kid were playing a little Ace Quest yesterday and he thought it was funny, figured I’d pass it along.

Yes Mills....do tell us...how exciting are you? :=

Haha!

… and yeah I’ve kept a decent working pace on it thus far, despite everything, nothing like the pace I held myself to for the original however. I’m really happy with how it’s turning out and that’s all I’ll say. :)

Fun little game, I enjoyed it, but then I'm partial to toilet humor, haha.
