Taking advantage of those 16 hotspots, then the 15 (or is it 20?) objects, and additional scripting is the best way I can think of...
#2822
I'm not 100% sure, but I think these go to the critics lounge... other place is the AGS talk&chat.... One of the moderators will move this, if needed.

Get the cordinates of the object, then, in the walkable area editor, erase around that point, and see how it got. Try it in-game, and if it's not good, erase some more, or draw some back. The only way to get it perfect is to tune it step by step. (that make sense?)

;D

Pretty simple, in the theory, and asked many times... is this mentioned in the knowledge base or somewhere?

Well, anyway:

Erase the walkable area from under the object, or use a scriipt, suplied somewhere in there forums.

Quoteit seems like the game crashes first time when i run the game with sound. it doesnt even display the sound init error, just heavily crushes

Does this mean what it sounds like? ie. no error message?
#2827
MoveCharacter is not blocking. That's what's run when the walk mode is used, right?
#2828
then try "\}". It works for quotemarks (").

function interface_click (int interface, int button) { <--- this...
if ((interface == 0) && (button == 0)) { <--- ...this...
string input;
GetTextBoxText (0, 0, input);
ParseText (input);
if (Said ("get,take key")); <------ take out this semicolon
{ <---- add this brace
MoveCharacter (0, 302, 123);
ObjectOff (0);
AddInventory (1);
} <----- add this closing brace
}
} <--- and these

?

Or using parser in dialog...?

This is not AGS technical, I believe... But anyway, what color depth was your picture? AGS uses 16 bit color in hi-color, and if you bmp was 24, some colors might go messed-up. Aswell, did he opacity levels look right in the saved bmp file?
