You need to make it a blocking interaction!
If you have something like MoveCharacter in the inv item interactions, of cource it is not blocked since MoveCharacter is not a blocking function.

Hmm.... What format are your sounds, are they speech or sound effects, did you rebuild vox files, are your sound card options allright? How big is your game? how much memory you have? How much free disk space you have? It could be the machine running out of resources or something...

I can't really say anything else then that I liked it. :) The plot was interesting, the graphics were original, which is a good thing :P and the music fit the game. After I found the safe I just blazed through the game, first try, safe open....... I like games which are not too hard. Good job, the effort put in it shows.

Hey foz, if I'd be admin here, you'd be afar from this place.

What do you hold against Vel? What has he done to you? As far as I've seen, nothing. This place has freedom of opinion, right? If Vel has said something which you didn't like, you shuoldn't start a war against him.

When visiting the games page, not logged to the forum, you see a messaged about that some people are not able to post mature comments, so for must be logged here... Well, seems you don't care... Your comment posting on Vel's games has been immature behavior.

Now I'll need to re-state my side....

Yes, I do know Vel can be very irrating sometimes, but so what? We all can! No-one is to be judged by their nature. Foz, you seem to have a problem tolerating difrent people.

Last night I started making menu for my new game... which is not even near to finish, it's near to begin... And I love this utility! :) A few ideas popped up:

- Startup sound
- Check if the game exe exists in the directory, if not, instruct the player to move the executable to the game folder
- Custom error messages
- Ability to define manual filename (really needed?)
- About screen

just in case any of these can be done, and you got time 'n thrust ;)

I'm working alone, and planning for a really big, like Pleurhgburg leght game, which would r0x0r, but I'm not sure for how long I have thrust to work on it...
