No, I guess I'll give a hint. I believe it was originally a CD-i title, but was later ported to DOS.

I recognized it because I was browsing through the resource file looking for something a while ago :)

Long time no see indeed Abstauber! And I have no idea what this game is. But there's a lot of games in this thread I don't recognize...

Not exactly an adventure game, but it did come with an editor which I used to make my first adventure-ish games..

I'm pretty sure they are having the PC in mind, with "XBLA, PSN, Android, iPads, iPhones, Windows Phones, Kindle, Linux and of course, Mac!" as an extra.

I'd be more impressed if Al would do a new game rather than a carbon copy of the first Larry with improved graphics.

From the FAQ:

I love the game but I would pledge more if you guys made a brand new Leisure Suit Larry game instead of a re-make of LSL 1

We would LOVE to make a new version of Leisure Suit Larry!!  We thought about making LSL 4 (the missing floppies) or 8, or even 69!!  The problem is, Codemasters, the publisher that owns the rights to Leisure Suit Larry and sold them to us wants to see what we can do with the game first.  They said if we do a good job at a re-make then we'll have total freedom to do what we want on the next game.

I never really played Grim Fandango. I just hated the controls. Same reason why I never tried Monkey Island 4. I'm more of a point-and-clicker I guess. Maybe I should give Grim Fandango another shot because people seem to agree that it's a great game.

Played it a bit. I can see that you put a lot of effort into it. I didn't understand much of the story, but perhaps that is due to all the typos etc. But you already mentioned that it requires some proofreading. Some bugs:

-When you select your party for the final battle, and you click 'fight' or something, the gameplay continues but the GUI with the party select stays on screen. So you can't see what is going on.
-When I attacked the enemy in the 'final battle' it crashed:

Code: ags
---------------------------
Adventure Game Studio
---------------------------
An error has occurred. Please contact the game author for support, as this is likely to be a scripting error and not a bug in AGS.
(ACI version 3.21.1115)

in "room16.asc", line 806

Error: AnimateCharacter: invalid loop number specified

Some more feedback:

-I like some of the graphical effects you put in, good work.
-I only had some music in the start menu? No music/sound effects during game play.
-The characters move really slow. This is especially annoying when you have to wait for all 4 characters to move.
-Why do the characters keep saying "I'm hip!"; is that slang or do I just not get it? :)
-Combat seemed a bit dull;
* Using a potion doesn't seem to end your turn so you can just use 5 of them in a row.
* Every attack does the same amount of damage and I was never in any danger of running out of health. Perhaps I accidentally increased my maximum amount of health due to using some potions but I wasn't sure.
* When you select an attack, you can't change to another one without first changing to another cursor mode.
* Attacks didn't really feel like they did any damage (but that's probably because I didn't hear any sound effects.)

That's all for now. Perhaps I'll try it again later if I can somehow get past the crash.

I believe that game in the 3rd image is either a game or a demo by Jetxl...but I'm too lazy to do more than a cursory search right now...

It could be Catacombic?

Good point. But can we empty it afterwards? I like the sound effect that plays when you empty it!
