Leisure Suit Larry 3 had action sequences too, like the log ride when you play patti. But you could skip them with F6 if I remember correctly. That would be a good solution; people that dont like the action sequences could skip them, and people that liked them could just play them. But of course evading an action sequence by using another puzzle would be even better.

That looks pretty amazing! I love isometric stuff :) Reminds me of Sylpher's ISO game.
I think an adventure game in isometric style could really work well.

uwh, I'm already working on the site btw,

but I don't agree with you fully, although I wouldn't mind if you set it up like that, in my mind the TBS, would be a group of people who make AGS games. The website is the place where you could download the TBS games and see some screenshots n animations. Like Gaspop or the FOY website.

We don't need no forum as far as I'm concerned, we have agsforums. I don't want to make any kind of distance to AGS in any way.

Def? ;)

Def what?! What did I do? Misschien amazon?

Me and Chrille made a RPG game in AGS a while ago. With random monster encounters, turn based battle like FF or any other CRPG, spells, advancing characters (gaining levels, more healthpoints), etc. Let me just tell you it's a lot of work. And a lot of scripting.

Well written Andail, and I also recognize some stuff. Like about checking the forums.
It could really take a few days before someone would reply to your problem. The community wasn't very big. I will write a small story about my newbie-ism too.

I joined... At least a while before december 2000. Because that's when I released my
first demo. Star Spoof. Well, it was just the intro, but I felt like I had to release something to show people what I was working on. Got some nice feedback on it, even though it was buggy. Later I released the James Bondage demo which was a bit playable, but I've never really released a full game in all those years. I've been trying and trying. I had my share of  complete nonsense posts on the old boards. I can remember my first post, in the technical forum. It was about asking how you move a character that is not the player character to  some other room. It was in the time peeps like Gravity, Yahtzee and Bubba Chump roamed the forums (and later at the start of irc, where 3 peeps was the peak of #ags). I remember when my HDD crashed and I lost the source of my Star Spoof game. I asked CJ if he could decompile the demo, so that I had at least something I could continue work on. He said he'd do it, but he never did heh :) Ah well, not that it matters much. It's a few years later now and
I still havn't released anything. But one day..... !

That's my story. Oh and sorry about the large sig image, perhaps I'll change it later.

I love Yufster! Love love love. I wonder if she'll marry me.

I remember playing this. Throwing skulls at the dude who's tied up against the wall was so funny :) Especially when you later threw 'something else' at him ;)

oooo nice improvements! the bg looks really cool, although I'd say it could use _some_ clouds, maybe in the distance
#196
Nice background! And yes, I especially love the tree too.
I agree on the cloud though, remove the dark outline.

Teir! That's one smooth background man. Nice and clean, and sharp :)
It snow actually gives me shivers, it really does look cold. Finish that MAGS
game. Don't be like me (work on james bondage, quit it because I got too busy
with other stuff. Then decided to continue work on it and release it at a non-mags
game, and then quit working on it permanently and only release a 6(?) room un-
finished game *phew* ).
