I'm 99% sure it's one of the Saints Row games but I have no clue which one... I'm guessing one of the later ones because they got progressively wackier. Is it Saints Row 4?

That is spot on! I think all of the loading screen art in Distrust is phenomenal.

Your turn again!

Gosh, I almost feel bad for guessing it so quickly! That game has such lovely artwork though, it really stuck with me.

Here's my one:

Gah! I KNEW that I recognised that art style! The font in particular put the title on the tip of my tongue!

Is the note a suicide note?
Was the note written before the two people died?
Are either of the dead bodies the victims of murder?

Well done, Slasher! That is exactly right! I hadn't seen any Bollywood movies in this thread so I decided to throw one in. My next picture was going to be from one of the scenes set in Istanbul, just to mess with Laura...

If anyone is looking for an "entry level" Bollywood movie, I can't recommend Ek Tha Tiger highly enough. It's really accessible to western audiences, there's only a handful of moments where they play up the typical Bollywood tropes so it's a great way for newcomers to get accustomed to the style. It's a pretty creative film, it's shot very well, there are some great music themes, it's a little on the longer side but I think it earns its run time. The performances are all solid, though the dialogue is a little clunky sometimes. (That could be down to the translation though.) The action scenes are very thrilling and fun, without being overly silly. On a scale of "realistic" to "preposterous" I think it's somewhere between The Bourne Identity and 2 Fast 2 Furious. Think Goldeneye with a smaller budget and a great big love story thrown in.

It's actually pretty well liked in Ireland, and not just because a good 40 minutes of the movie is set here. It actually does a pretty good job of portraying modern Ireland, I dare say it actually has a more accurate portrayal than a lot of Hollywood movies that try to include Ireland in some way. Plus it's the only movie where you'll see Salman Kahn pursuing baddies through the mean streets of Dublin's inner city...

I only found out that there was a sequel in the past couple of weeks, I'm excited to track it down and give it a watch!

Wow, it is so lovely to log on and see so many people who have knowledge about my country! Hurling is indeed our national sport, or should I say one of our two national sports. We also have a game called Gaelic Football which has very similar rules to hurling but instead of using a small ball and a stick, you use a larger soccer-style ball which you can kick and throw around. (I've been told it's similar to Aussie Rules Football in many ways.) They are both high-scoring, fast-moving sports, I'd encourage anyone to look at a highlights clip on YouTube if you like that kind of thing!

Despite that picture showing the Kilkenny hurling team, the film is actually NOT an Irish film, though a large portion of it was set and shot in Dublin. Here's the title shot, minus the title:

Oh, and it's not Babel!

None of those answers are correct, but they are hilarious! I'll narrow things down by saying that it isn't a Hollywood movie.

Thank you all for such lovely comments! This was my main project over the lockdown period, so that probably explains why I put so much effort into it! I'm very glad you all think it paid off.

Ian Aloser - Alfred Einstein came from me thinking, "If a smart person was pretending to be someone who was dumb but trying to appear smart, what would they do? Well, they'd claim to be smarter than Einstein but get the name wrong!"

Laura Hunt - I realised pretty quickly that the Judas puzzle was too out-there, that's why I added the other clue. I decided to leave the 26 pieces of silver bit in there though because that's the kind of puzzle I like. (Thank you for the tip about recognising substitution ciphers, I'm sure that will be very helpful to me in my future puzzle solving endeavours!)

Cassiebsg - Thank you very much for playing! I am so happy that you enjoyed it!

heltenjon - I'm glad that the subject of this game matched your interests so well! I wasn't sure if there would even be any Stephen King fans playing, and I'm very happy that I managed to include enough references and easter eggs to give you a nice nostalgia hit. Shortly after beginning this game I actually started watching season one of Castle Rock, which is when I realised that Sheriff Pangborn is a much bigger figure in Stephen King lore than I had thought! I enjoyed season one of the show, and season two is definitely on my list! I am also amazed by some of the coincidences that occurred during the course of your investigation... The pentagram and the Salzburg situation both completely amazed me! 100% unintentional. Absolutely fascinating how those things can arise.

Here's another hint, I'll be a bit less obscure with my choice of pics from now on.
