ok, thank you  :) but i want to know how can i make when the npc followed the player, how can i know that the npc is standing in front of the player? Is there a eBlock or something like that??? thanks.

ohh no, now i saw the module, no that isnt what i want. I want a place where THE PLAYER CAN TYPE NOTES IN THE JOURNAL not me, the player will type sentences to remember something. Undertood????? Thank you!@

hey mods, what GiP thread?  ;D i didn't get the abreviation  :P Thank you! Yeah, i'm trying to push the game foward more and more each day, but as i said to Eclitico, one man doing all the work it's a sloooooow job. I will try to post new screens to change with the older ones.

yeah, maybe, but i wanted to do the journal as a room, and then maybe a transparent GUI just with the label to the player type into it, so i don't have to make a whole new GUI, just a tranparent one with a label. Thank you! But this thread is still open for ideas (any idea now KhrisMUC? TrentR?)!!!!

also you could add a frame between the relaxed and extended arm frames to look more smooth. Try to make the arm raise more to the left, its look like his arm is glued on his cloth.

Hey folks, how can i create a box where the player can write some notes to help through the game. In my game the player has a diary, wich has all the objectives and tips to the player, and i wanted to add a chapter when the player can type in the book. Some help please?

Ok then, in my manual i will explain some shortcuts (like press TAB or CTRL + I to open inventory window, but you can just press the button too.), a chapter explaining how to customize the options and another on how to combine, descombine and use itens. Just examples.

If i use follow character, can i make him stop folowing him? (Yes, much n00bie question, of course it has your jackass! But how i can use it please?)

I think it's better i make a condition, if is character on the hotspot (on the edge) turn is on left/right edge true, and then when the npc follow my character, if it is on left, + 10 pixels, if it is on the right, - 10 pixels, i think it's a good idea huh?  ;D

i don't think he cares about the perspective, the drawing sometimes can be distorted, its still art, not wrong art, wrong art doesn't exist, so if he want to leave as is, is because he want to give a fantasy impact maybe. But yeah, the perspective is wrong anyway  :P

Yeah, i think this way too. I will post every step when finished, but for now i won't post any step, because in the computer i'm there is not the gif maker i use (beneton) so  will post only screenshots now. I started coloring it. It's working for me, i just have a question: Wich color i use to paint the walls? A darker or lighter one? Wich one fits on the ambient? Thank you.

Hi Folks! I need to make my npc character walk toward the player, wherever he is, so i used something like:

cNPC.Walk(cPlayer.x, cPLayer.y); (Not the exactly code, it works perfectly)



but then the npc moves EXACTLY to the position of the player, and this feels weird, so i want him to stay in front of, not on, the character. How can i do this? I thought in making this way

int player.x
int player.y

and then remove a little (5 or 7) from it before moving, but if the player is on a egde?
i'm unsure, please help me ;)
