so.... is someone gonna make a new forum for AGS or what?!
like even just a free forum is better than nothing.
couldn't one of the mods or people who've been around for ages make one??

all these paintovers looks GREAT, from the neck down i think looks fantastic, and i'll do a version today with all of whats you've said in mind.

like you said however Calin, after many facial paintovers the original expression is lost.
the VERY first paintover done grabs the expression how i wanted it pretty much perfectly.

just a general comment, the way youve drawn him will be quite time consuming to animate.. this is not necessarily a bad thing but consider pixel art (like my paintover)

i've tried animating him and you are 100% correct.  especially considering i'm HORRIBLE at animating walkcycles, its turning out really bad.

Just out of curiosity, is that supposed to be Flea or Charlie Brown as an adult?

Made some changes to the feet.  Hopefully they look more seperate now, and i also shortened them because they looked quite huge actually.

well i'm working on my MAGS Game and it came time to create my little guy for the game.
i'm very bad at making characters so I'm putting him up here so you guys can tell me what to improve on so I can have a decent MAGS game.  (if i finish it in time)

anyways, without talking too much, here he is!

and in regards to the way you write, if you speak english as your first language, surely its not that hard to write a proper sentence, or perhaps just read over what you wrote and make sure it made sense??

ok dude i'm fairly new to the forums and your really frustrating me.
its really hard to understand what your trying to say, your english isn't so good.

if you just want someone to make music for your game, post in the Recruit a Team thread.
perhaps just make a bit more of your game and once you have a bit too show for yourself then ask for music.

a storyline would help.

i'd get in a team competition
as for newbies feeling like they're not good enough to participate, surely the whole point of competitions like this isn't just for WINNING, but for improving?
what better way is there to improve?

plus i think what would be a cool thing to do is for people to form there own teams and they can accept/reject people based on the teams desicions.
that way you can have like an allegiance to your team and then all sorts of fun stuff like banners to be worn in sigs etc can come around

just my thoughts...
anyways there seems to be lots of interest so go for it??

I read my post and i don't appear to making a whole lot of sense...
what i mean is, don't like say ALRIGHT GO GO GO.  let each team form as they will and work it out, then when the team is ready, they ask another team to do battle, and someone chooses a topic and they get cracking.

The New Nation, Team FTW, etc are teams.  they run their teams and battles in a similar way over there that i think would be cool here.
