OK. Thanks alot!!!! 

The "matthew" folder doesn't contain any files except shortcuts. So does that mean i can just delete the folder and the accound and that be an end of it?

When I create a new account, it doesn't make a new folder. is there no way of renaiming the folder through some obscure method??

Well heres the problem...

I just got my pc back from the guy who got rid of everything on it and put xp back on and stuff, but he thought my name was matthew. Anyway, theres a folder C:\Documents and Settings\Matthew, but I want it as Dan, since matthew aint my name, and probably never will be. When i go to rename the folder, it says "windows cant rename this folder blah blah blah."

I just wanted to know, is there any way to change it?Ã,

The first version seems to have more of a cartoony feel, whereas the second seems more serious. I suppose it depends what type of game you're going for.

I think the building looks sort of welcoming. Perhaps if you made the bottom set of windows less white?

what FTP program are you using at the moment?

the sun sort of looks as if it is in front of the mountain. But its a cool BG.

I've been told that some things in my pc won't work with 98 (for example my dvd player may not work). But I'm gonna try 98 anyway, and find out. Hopefully I'll be lucky.

yeh, I get that damn send error report thing all the time!

Xp and 98 are the only two I own.

the things that don't work are games. They actually say that they work with XP, and my pc meets all the specifications, but they work one or two times, then stop working.

PS:

my pc: pentium 4, 2.67 GHz, 512 MB RAM, and 80GB hard drive.

I'm removing xp from my hard drive tomorrow, but I'm not sure whether to use xp, or 98.

Some things I have don't work on xp, but at the same time, xp has some features that i like.

What do you think i should use?

Normally, i don't care about telling people things. But I've had one thing on my mind for a year, and I've actually feared telling people.

My mum and dad haven't been getting on. But its been getting worse. This might seem evil, but I actually WANTED them to get divorced. But I felt a bit better a few minutes ago when my mum told me she's considering it.

But I'm finding it really hard. Like I have no one to talk to. I read something about Jonny Depp (sp?) and he said his parents used to fight, and he wanted them to get divorced. It occured to me that I'm not alone.

So, have any of you had this sort of experience, or have any advice? even if its a few words, it will be GREATLY aprieciated.
