I know its annoying getting e-mails like this, but...what if someone is scanning teh AGS forums, and is just being egged on by these threads? Maybe they'd get fed up if we didn't make a big deal of it, and just deleted it?

And a mod can get rid of this if he pleases, but even though i don't know kikme, i must say i'm starting to think he's the one behind it.  

I do Puzzles. I'm doing the puzzles for Hobbses game, so you'll seee what i can do...in a while.

I need some one who can make animations for CHARACTERS from a still veiw of a character. I have no problem with doing objects, backgrounds, etc. I just need someone to do the animations starting with a still view that I've done.

i like it, but perhaps the mountains are a bit ... too ... smooth?

I like the books. They are about the only book i enjoy...

but for some reason, they always seem to get me into a really bad depression. I remember after reading the 3rd book i just lay on my bed for ages. . I've forced myself to do something now that i've finished the 5th one, and i'm finding it quite hard.

I tried to make an actions dictionary ages ago. it was like what different body lanuage things mean. But I gave up and deleted it after 2 days.  

could you not use a BAT file?

How would you know something had happened? What if we were just on holiday?

I don't mind helping out with the puzzles. I'm helping Hobbes with the puzzles for his game.

hmm. I was just a little off  . I wasn't sure whether to use IsKeyPressed, because the manuakl said something about it only working with the functions "below"....so...

wow. Right. I think it would go in the global script. Otherwise you'd have to put it in every room. You could try it like that, but if it has a script error, change it to something like....

if (on_key_press(84)) {
   Display("Blah Blah Blah");
   }

i'm not 100% sure though, since I've never used this before. Good luck!

I'm pretty sure you can use the @thingy's in stuff other than GUIs.

er... i think it might be something like....

   GuiOn(3);
   Wait(180);
   GuiOff(3);
   }

and have a gui with @score out of @totalscore or whatever in it. it will come on, wait for about 5 seconds, then go offf...hopefully.

Go to a site that has a link to a midi, or a sound effects. RIGHT CLICK on the one you want to download, and choose SAVE TARGET AS". make sure its downloading to your desktop so its easy to find, then, when its done, double click on your desktop to listen to it.

Its a good start. Why don't you try getting a freewebs site? You don't have pop ups or advertisements, and get 100 Mb of space.

I think its great you've gone to all this trouble too.

i think that if you implemented that forum, people would post on it, but no "oldbies" would read it.
