In graphic adventures, they are cool, because the aim is to solve the puzzles, etc. But they do suck in action type games.

My Question: If you were an adventure game character, which one would you rather be?

I was at school. Almost as soon as i got home the phone rang. it was my dad. He sounded out of breath like he'd been phoning repeatidely. He said "Dan, have you seen whats happened?...The TV!...Then Bloody watch!!!"  Its actually strange how i remember him saying those words. I had no idea what on earth he was on about. But I turned on the tv, and there, as soon as  i'd turned it on was a plane going into one of the towers. It wasn't long before i saw images of them falling. I couldn't, and didn't want to watch. It just didn't seem real. I've only been to america once, and it was nowhere near Manhatten, but i just kept turning over in my mind how many people had died.

And then the day after, i walked into the shops by my bus stop, and on all the newspapers were pictures of them falling down, or people jumping out of windows, and I didn't know how they could show those sort of images.

Then two days ago, someone drew them falling down and wrote something above it which i won't repeat. But it made me more angry than I'd ever been before. And I';m a pretty emotional person, really.

I just hope nothing like that ever happens again.

Anyone but Jimi Hendrix. I  can't stand that bloke.

I can't for the life of me figure out what custom properties is, and how it works. I can't find anything in the manual either.

when you make a new action under "Use Inventory on Hotspt" choose "Conditional-if inventory item was used" and make sure its the rope that you need to use.

I have a whole load of books on animating, and cartoon animating too. I used to site and draw stuff as wel as make stuff. (Although for the last 4 years I've had a mental block )

When I was about 6 years old, I was on holiday in Majorca, and the entertainer in our area was a guy called Toni. He was really funny, and he was REALLY scared of wasps, and he always called them wisps. So I drew him as a wasp and called it Toni the Wisp, and when I gave it to him, he stuck it up on the noticeboard of the bar. When I came back 2 years later, the pisture was still there, even though toni had left months before.

I think they both slightly simalar because Guybrush is a classic example of what a pirate probably looked like, and so to make him look like a pirate, its only logical to use some of the things that guybrush also uses.

I speak English, I can sort of count to 5 in welsh :\, I am fluent in Gobbledigook and Gibberish, and I speak a little german.

I used to just want to make things. Anything. I used to get cardboard boxes, and cut them up, sellotape them together to make buildings and stuff. I think I tried to make one too realistic and it fel apart. But since I just like making things, it's great using ags.

I can't help bottling my anger up. I normally take it out on something in my room though. which normaly gets rid of it. But really, iqu's right. Theres no actual use of being angry.

Yeah, and it explainas its best for making adventure games, so we won't get masses of people hoping to make the next GTA.
