Now I'm curious what you did to solve it...  ;)

Also handy:

Add width and height to the image tag, so the image shows up bigger.

No comments on the latest version?

Edit:

I decided to give our captain a sailor to boss around. I saved some of the steps in between.

As you can see I kept changing the legs around, and I'm still not completely happy with them.

I'm pretty satisfied with his face. The colours could use some work.

Together with the captain:

(It's on purpose he's so much bigger than the captain: he's tall and the captain is small.)

His arm is the sideview is a bit strange. Most people bend their arms more when they stand, he seems to have a straight arm.

Edit:

I did a very quick edit:

It isn't very good, but it does illustrate my point.  ;)

I'm from the Netherlands.

Healthcare insurance is mandatory. It costs me about 90-100 euro a month, which is pretty much, but we get most of the care we need for that amount.

I just don't get what's so special about alcohol. I simply don't get why there are people who refuse to try it in the first place. It doesn't make any sense at all.

Imagine the following dialog:
"I've tried coffee. I like. I've tried sweets. I like. I've tried sushi. I like."
"Have you tried alcohol?"
"ALCOHOL!!1 Nah, I'll never try that!!"
"What, why not? What's so special about alcohol?"
"Err, I have no idea. But I'll never try it!!"

If someone would say they don't like the taste of coffee, would you tell them to mix it up with something so they won't be bothered by the taste?

Probably not, you would give them something else to drink.

Why is it that if someone doesn't like alcohol, people seem to go all "ah man, just a few glasses won't hurt".

My girlfriend doesn't drink, and it's unbelievable how many people seem to be bothered by that. People really seem to be offended sometimes, and think you're no fun if you don't drink.
It's almost enough a reason for me to stop drinking. (The puking last weekend is another good reason  ;D)

@ EldKatt:

Sorry, I don't really understand what you are saying (although I've read the wiki article). Could you please explain it to me?

You present your question like there are just 2 answers: style 1 or style 2., while in reality there are far more answers.

Based on your suggestions and edits, I changed the captain a bit. Then I added some very basic shading.

Did you succeed in using the memo on the guy? Or did it didn't work because of the blocking of his own memo?

If you didn't succeed, try checking your memo's manual...

This is a very quick version of a new character.

It's the captain of a sky-ship. It's supposed to be a southern gentleman like figure.

Things I want to improve:
- his posture looks weird (especially when mirrored)
- he doesn't look as arrogant as I want: he shouldn;t look evil or mean, but at least more stuck up then he looks now.

(I didn't shade him yet, I first wanted to be satisfied with the general figure).

Edit 3 december: new character below!

Nice little game, great idea. Hopefully someone will find it usefull!

Congrats on being the pick of the month for November!

I finished it. I got 3 endings in the end.

It's a very nice game. Humorous, good graphics, good music and fun puzzles.

I did find the fighting puzzle a bit too hard:
Spoiler

To get 12 punches right was pretty hard: I knew the solution to the puzzle, but getting it right still took me 10 minutes.
Maybe taking out the first guy in 4 punches and then the second one in 6 punches would be a better way to do the puzzle.

I must admit that even though I really liked the game, I did find the game just a bit to short for the amount of money. I expected it to be about double as long as it finally was.

Critics' Lounge / Re: Yet another band logo.

It never seizes to amaze me that so much starting bands are worrying about their album names and covers, before even having enough songs to fill an album, and sometimes not even having a complete line-up.

First get a complete band, then practice until you get enough songs to perform, then perform some gigs, and then maybe you can start about thinking about how to call your album.

Somehow a lot of starting bands have more website than music. :)

Great improvement compared to your first version! Nice.

I'm really enjoying the game, but now it keeps on crashing at one point.

Spoiler

After I get pulled into a car, I escape. Then at home I call Cadence. After the conversation, the game crashes.

I have the vacuum cleaner with something in it (no idea how to get it out yet). sax, phone, hubcap and note.

Oh, if I use Esc to skip the calling part of the cut scene, the game doesn't crash.

Edit:

I got past the crashing by skipping a certain cutscene. Now I'm stuck the 'regular' way. :)

Spoiler

How do I get into the library?

I looked under the refrigerator, and used the vacuumcleaner to get the stuff under it. Now I can't get the stuff out of it.

I also have no idea what to do with the cyclist.
