I bought and I'm playing now, but I'm stuck allready.  ;D

I don't want to finish the game to quickly, the longer it takes, the more value for my money I get, but I've visited the same few locations quit a few times allready now, and I have no idea what to do...

Spoiler

Do I need to do something with my equipment in order to hear the cd in it?

I just made a walkthrough for Reactor 09, you can find it at www.freewarzone.co.nr
btw, I also wrote a review for it. :)

There's one thing missing in your walkthrough:
Spoiler

You need to look at the locker to have acces to the right name when calling the water company.

Thanks for your help TassieDevil but think you misunderstood as I have gotten past that point.  Am absolutely stuck with the water pressure.  Have sorted the vent out at top of tower and fixed the other with the use of the crane and chain, but have used all the options of telephone, guess I have to get into locker - but guard won't let me.

Hint:
Spoiler

Getting into the locker isn't necessary for the telephone. Maybe somewhere around the locker a name can be found to provide another phone option....

Extra hint:
Spoiler

Getting into the locker is necessary for getting the best ending. If the guard doesn't see you doing it, maybe it'll work...

Looking very good!

I'll be checking out your store later. What payment methods are available? Is Paypal available?

Now you mention it, it does look like a Dark Crystal puppet right now.  ;D

Anyone got an idea how to make the collar of his white shirt to look better? It doens't really look like the collar of a shirt now.

I don't seem to find a working link to this game. Anyone still has it?

Very nice. It has a DoTT feel to it.

It doesn't exactly look like a 'ghost' though.

I think the hair on the left side of the head could be a pixel less wide.

Try to find free webspace where you can upload your game to the internet, so other people can download it.

Nobody but you can access your B: drive.

Thanks for all the comments and paintovers.

I tried to learn something from all your ideas, and I hope this is an improvement:

I changed his posture and features somewhat. I made his chin less pointy making him look somewhat friendlier, and I hope his arm looks better now.

Edit:
Another edit, I gave him some other clothes. I tried to give the clothes a more victorian look and feel. Like a Dickensian paperboy. So he looks more in line with the steam punk theme I want to give my future game.

Any thoughts?

I had never heard of them before the movie...and before this thread I didn't realize they were serious. But the fact that they're actually going on tour is wonderful in my books. I'd actually love to see them live.

Well, serious is a big word  ;D

They do make very good music, but Tenacious D is not a 'real' real band. When they perform they still play characters. Okay, the characters are very close to their real personalities, but still, characters.

I can't wait till they return here, and till the movie plays here.

I saw them live a few years back here in Amsterdam, and they rocked my socks off!

Just wondering, why not make a walthrough for the game?

Because it's more fun without one!  ;D

Wow! It's a real treasure for me! Thank you very much!
P.S. There are some non-interactive objects, such as ice-cream truck and mexican. Are they going to be interactive in the full version? And what about the intro? While trying to launch it, I discovered some bug.

Didn't he say there isn't going to be a full version? They stopped developing the game.

When you claim while editing an entry, you need to cite a source, so people can verify the claims added to article. This especially holds for things few people know.

Thanks Pablo, very nice edit.

I knew the contrast was a problem. I was waiting with the shading until I was more satisfied with the rest of the sprite, but it's very cool to see what some simple shading can do with a sprite.

Any idea how to give the guy blond hair, without having a lack of contrast?

After my troll, I decided to give him a friend: a gnome.

It's still in a very early phase.

I'm not to happy with his face: he looks to 'evil'. I wanted him to have sharp features: pointy nose and chin, but still look friendly, maybe a bit mischievious.
His posture also seems a bit stiff.

I still haven't worked out what the point of these spam poems is ... do the spammers have shares in a large poetry publishing corporation, and expect to make large profits by getting everyone into poetry?

By adding lots of random content, they hope to fool spam filters. Spam filters sometimes work woth a spam word ratio: the more 'spam words' the higher the change a mail IS spam. SO by adding lot's of non spam words, spammers hope their mails get through those filters.

Incidentally, I was very careful to use only eight colours, but when I converted it to a gif it said I had 11.  One of them is probably the transparency, and another might be the background colour that was cut out, but where's that other colour coming from?  (Just for future sprite jams where it might matter).

After in Photoshop changing back and forth between indexed and RGB colour, I get 4 yellows, 4 browns, white and transparant, adding up to 10 colours in the colour table.
