How come? I can't remember that part of the movie - I've only seen it twice - but I'm a big fan of mallrats and clerks and dogma - all good!
I got my friend (who can actually draw - which helps) To draw me out the skelintons of the characters so I could get the posture right (because that pic is horrible) - I used Kaaz's advice with the opacity of a black brush and it works real well - I drew these two on 'The Gimp' (better than hand drawing for me) once my friend helped me with the form -

P.S. I recomend GIMP as an alternative to programs like photoshop or artgem! IT's Ace!

I thinks it be cool.
Perhaps you could play with the colour - making the foreground more bold and the back ground more faded - I think that could help with getting 'distance' in the pic.

Hey! I'm really not getting the hang of shading my characters - I can't find one, but is there a tutorial on how to do this well?
Here's a crummy drawing of 'Jay' (without silent BOB) that i have tried to shade - You see what I mean? It looks ... wrong

So any ideas or tutorials avaliable out there?

God Damn! I love all these xcharacters SO(!!!) much!! I haven't been here that long, but I can easily say these are THE BEST CHARACTERS I HAVE EVER SEEN ON AGS!!! The chick is hot - the boss is intimidating - the gay guy is, well... gay.

Afew points though:
Like stuh505 said - the girl looked much sexier and - Human - with smaller, half shut eyes.
The boss' suit was better in black the white pinstripes - i think - don't work so well.
Can we see some backgrounds if you've got that far yet?
Once again - I love these!
P.S The animations are 10/10 also - except for 'jerky pinstripe' I love the other two tho!

Firstly i'd say that it depends entirely on your decision when it comes to cartoony/smooth characters or old school/pixleated characters - what is the rest of the game like? Backgrounds? Storyline? Atmosphere? Chose a style that fits these.
   If you scan in a drawing, generaly you have to clean it up a little on programs (like photoshop 5.5) - can't you resize the image and then reinforce the lines in paint or somthing?
   I think - but i'm not sure (i'm still new too) - that if you change from 640x480 to 800x600 then all the sprites you create will change in relation to this.
   Errr.. I think that's it. Is that any help?

It looks pretty ace - but i don't like the light coming from the streetlamp - it's a too big a contrast to the rest of the scene - making it look like a solid block of light and it doesn't look 'right'

   I like the bold, cartoon style - but the palm tree leaves don't look too great - if you did them in the same way as that little bush it would look better - more texture.
