Thanks to juncmodule archives we were able to save a lot of work and create our first game in 9 days  :) I guess its a good way to promote the game creation if the creators dont need spend 1 year on their first little game

Not abuse, but to create your first game is very usefull if you have some chars already developed to avoid hours and hours of long and tired art design.

And you can edit the images a little and create your own character once you have the original one  ;D using it as a model.

I have a lot of lucasarts characters but noi in cha format, even when it is very easy to create once you have the images. You can find the images searching for the JuncModule webpage in this forum (i thinks there is a link in the resources topic).

The RAR archive includes the TRA file. All bugs reported until now were fixed.

We really apreciated any comments or crits. We dont expect win a trophy, just want know what is good and what is bad for you in the game to try to improve for our next games. Remember that this is our first game, even when we improved it a lot since the first release.

We hope you enjoy playing Paul Quest.

My first adventure game i ever played were MI1 and it were in spanish (around 1991). As i said, lucasarts always released their games in spanish besides sierra.

I guess is much more difficult translate a parser game than CnP game, but probbly sierra forgots that there are a lot of peple around who do not speak english.

I will feel more than happy if in the future someone have the time enough to translate all this games, as a SQ series lover.

The old sierra games (space quest 1, 2 & 3, larry 1,2,& 3) never had an official spanish traslation, meanwhile lucasarts always released spanish versions.

It is possible to translate this games? Any tool can help with this? Just curiosity, since i never seen an spanish version of space quest 1, for example.

No entiendo por qué no. Escribas simplemente [*hide] y [*/hide] a cada lado del texto, sin los asteriscos.

Paolo, es la misma respuesta para las dos cosas. Cuando soluciones una, solucionaras la otra automaticamente. Abre los ojos; con el @overhotspot es mas facil.

Yes, an alternative is more than welcome. I dont like neither the ground, but is the best choice i found until now. Im searching the web to try to find something better. At this moment, i just feel happy with the castle.

I have corel photo paint select edition, but maybe im silly, or i cant dran a single line with it. I tried everything and i just can draw bold lines (3 pixels width). I saw the tutorial, but it dont said nothing abuot single lines. How i can draw a BGs without single lines?

Anyway, MSpaint is ok to begin; im just learning.

ABout the ground, yes, it look not much real. I saw the KQ1 Bgs to take some ideas and i will try now.

I like the castle, but im not happy with how looks the ground. I dont have ideas to make it looks better, not just how it looks now.

I outlined the first two trees. Im not sure if it looks fine, but i like it. Any idea about it?

The game have the battle interface as Fee said, but is much more complex; new buttons are added as soon as you learn new techniques or you reach some skill levels: leave the battle, double sword, double magic, get mana, get healt, and a long etc. A new update is uploaded with the battle engine finished (the opponents now also attacks you )

Sorry; i posted it in JPG just to make it smaller.

I saw the paintovers of my character and im very sure that im not an artist. I dont like MSPaint and it dont like me  ::) Maybe i must try with only-text games  ;D

Gold and GoldD are the same.

I found the second bug, but not the first one. Are you talking about the door to the dark room? It looks to me like it works fine  ???

Please. if you can, send me a PM in spanish explaining the first bug. Im unable to fix it if i dont know where are the fault.
