Thank you! :) It's part of the style, to make the head look big... I'm going to do it in some kinda MI-FoA-ish style.

I continued my "Star-Wars-for-a-lifetime-project" and it turned out to be fun. A lot of stuff has been done lately :). Now I summon all of you Star Wars Fans here on this board to give me criticism about this sprite: Jango Fett.

I did him once with and once without jet pack, because it turned out kinda odd, imho. Feel free to c&c! :)

This one is much better imho. It does resemble the character much more!

Smartarses need no fonts too. I just copied every letter I needed from other people's entries =)

Same here ;).

Jimmy "Eagle-Eye" Bernstein!

He's the real reason, why Hermann Squarejaw lost his right eye last summer. Good thing, that he won't admit that in public and tells everyone the "bar brawl"-story. :D

:D Thanks! The one good thing about Jedi is, that they all look the same. Or kinda. You animate one = you animate all.

Thank you!
The new face shading looks better, indeed, but I think I'll keep my hair colour. I'll add some more contrast to it, I guess. It also isn't Luke Skywalker btw :D

Critics' Lounge / Jedi Sprite colours

Hey folks, I did some Jedi sprites for my wip Star Wars game some time ago (also got it animated already) and was wondering about the colours. I just played FoA lately and realized, that the colours are much stronger. Please tell me what you think about it:

Thanks :D

btw, he's supposed to look a bit goofy. I hope I got that right, too.

Nice job everyone.

Very nice! Did you do that with some references or completly from scratch?

I tried to do a quick color-edit. I made his snout white, to make it sticking out a bit. I also made the blonde a bit darker, more gold-like.

I hope it helps :). If not, well, nevermind.

Somehow the yellow beard and hair doesn't fit the rest of the character. It's too much contrast in his face, I guess. But maybe it's just me ;).

I love it. Will the river be animated?

:o Wow, it's perfect. Looks just as it would be ripped out of FoA (which of course isn't the case), great job! Are you (still) creating a Indiana Jones game, or is this just a practise of your's?

It's George Lucas himself, counting all the dollars he makes with LucasArts... and Star Wars 3D-rubbish...of course.  ;D

I planned to add more detail, but somehow got tried at looking at his taunting face...because I'm buying Star Wars 3D-rubbish his company makes myself.

Yeah, nice job everyone  :D

He actually was planned by Lucas Arts, but never made it to the final version of the game....

:o Wow, amazing stuff ProgZ. You are right, anatomy is my big problem right now. But I guess that routine on creating pixel-art, which I don't realy have right now, doe's help alot to make it look natural. My next steps of learning will be spend on various anatomy books :D. Thank you

Heya, thanks everyone. I did another update myself using some of your ideas :).
