Oh, and regarding the pills... yes, Angelica, the pills had indeed been stashed in the cabinet under the sink.
It has been a while since I took any, but Doctor Killmurray said he had found the empty bottle in the trash can which Mary cleans up regularly, so the pills must have been stolen this evening.

//Raises her head, then eyes Madame Sky

Madame, are you... sure you are feeling well? You were thrashing quite violently against the floor. Do you not have any pains? Perhaps you should at least sit and rest?

//Looks at Benny Green
Mr. Green, what is it you are implying? What ignoble purposes could drive anyone to steal tarot cards?
They are certainly important for Madame Sky's trade and beautifully crafted but still, they are but a pack of cards... Why would you think anyone might have wanted them?

Congrats Slasher!

And kudos to VW as well, I'm pretty certain the game's unfinished state was the only thing that hindered the chances for this to be the winning entry.

You're in, Wheel of Fate!

Tabata, there's no quit option in this game, I'm afraid! But let me delay the moment of your last breath, here, this should be more comfortable...

Indeed! As a ghost, you have the upper hand here because no one can chomp on yours! (laugh)

And yes selmiak sir, you are late to the party but as they say it, better late than never!

Someone help me, please... Why is this happening...? *whispers* Graham... I can't....

Oh my god, she is going to hurt herself!

//Grabs the cloth Graham Harlington's body is covered with and tries to push it under Madame Sky's convulsing body to stop her from thrashing against the floor

Doctor, help!

Very well. Mary, please bring a pillow and as many blankets as you can find.

No Doctor, I'm fairly certain there were more than just a few. It's been a while since I took any but I think there was a good one-third still left in the bottle.

Oh, Mary, of course. Thank goodness for your clear thinking. I could have her rest in one of the guest bedrooms but we should not leave her side now, should we? Both her health and her safety may be endangered.

As much as it pains me to treat a guest in such manner, we can try spreading a mattress or even a few blankets on the floor for her. Doctor? Your thoughts, please?

No apologies needed, Doctor. I know you mean well. You only did what was best for our situation.

Might it help you and Angelica figure out what happened if I try to remember how many pills were left...? Or is it irrelevant?

We shall see. It... It is distressful to have my private matters exposed, but in a dreadful situation like this discretion is of little use...

Th-thank you, Mary. You have done more than you think.

Doctor... This is quite embarrassing to see you display my prescription in front of everyone, but I understand it was necessary, in the light of circumstances.

Can you please let Angelica examine the bottle? I... would like to know if there are traces of poison inside it, too.

Indeed. Mr. Green, I do not think your wide scope of expertise includes medical training.
You would not have yourself harm a lady's reputation, would you?

//Glances at Hank
Hm...? Oh.

//Still pale but appears to have regained composure. Gaze fixed on the fireplace

I apologize for my earlier outburst, that must have looked... highly inappropriate. I had just... ah...
//Involuntarily glances at the body

Can someone-
no, the Doctor is probably right that we should not move the body until the authorities arrive, and given the weather that will not happen soon.
Mary... find something to cover him with, please. This is... so very, very disturbing.

Jason and the Golden Apple by Slasher
Spoiler
It feels less coherent in terms of storyline than the entry you made last month for example, but I liked the swashbuckler adventure feel and the plot twist with the sirens' boss was fun. It would have been nice if there had been an actual choice of whether or not bring the apple back.
An enjoyable game overall, not one of your best productions perhaps but still, I had fun playing it.
Side note: typos on the loose! :) Especially near the end of the game.

Looks like a good start of an adventure/RPG mix. I like the idea of a quest system for an adventure game, might be an interesting way to combat the linearity that characterizes so many classic adventure games.
I haven't found any real bugs other than doors that all lead to the same place, but that's probably an intended move due to the game being in an early stage rather than an actual bug.
I feel this could have been a solid win had there been any substantial gameplay. A really good attempt, VW.
