The brown item is my first shot at drawing a conch. I didn't like it very much because it wasn't very readable, so I re-drew the conch and left the first attempt as a non-interactive part of the background.
As for the mermaid, I initially wanted to make a nice animation of her playing with the figurine to catch the player's attention, but just didn't have enough time so I took a shortcut.

Fly to the ledge behind the large rock (the one with the cave) and speak to the mermaid when she starts playing with her find. Then fly back and ask her about the man made item again.

I'm yet to play Slasher's game through to the end but I can certainly say that if this month's theme was "Mermaids, Sirens and Potion Making" all our three entries would still match the requirements

By the way, what is the current policy on entering our own competitions? It used to be frowned upon some time back but as I understand it, that was mainly because of the no pre-made assets rule. Or was it?

Into the last week folks. Any more for any more? We've had some good momentum recently.

We've had a couple other, non-AGS game making competitions overlapping with MAGS which may have absorbed people's creativeness this month.
Either this or the theme sucks
