General Discussion / Re: I(vy) do comics too

Okay, I just read the lot. The humour is -great-, you're really actually trying to be funny as opposed to a lot of those awful web comics that just try to emulate conversations people have had with their friends that they think are funny to other people but aren't. You're are ACTUALLY funny and I like the humour a lot ^_^ As far as the art, I think it's okay but could definitely do with some cleaning up. Just working on peoples' bodies and stances and making them seem a little less stiff will make a huge difference I think. Sorry, I know this isn't C&C but I would have given you an empty compliment if I thought it was just okay, but I really thought your writing was awesome so I'd like to see you keep going and improve! I promise I'm not trying to be patronising :/

I'd like to be optimistic about this but... urg. I just can't pull a scrap of hope out. When they show a little more of it and if it really looks like they've put way more effort into this than the series in recent years (and effort into making it genuinely-Simpsons-funny, not effort into getting guest stars and 3D FX), then I might start thinking it could turn out alright.

I'm investing my hopes into Futurama right now, I don't have the energy to worry about the Simpsons too.

I thought it was funny :)

To anyone who says you shouldn't joke about something serious like that, that's just completely and utterly wrong. It's wonderful we CAN joke about shit like that!!
#284
Nope, but that's cool story! ^_^ I hope it happens to me someday.
#285
Oh, righteo! Guess I'll play it later on ^_^ Good works and all that!

Can someone tell me what happened here? I can't tell from reading this thread what was a joke, if anything.

IloveBJs and DeepThroat are the same poster, obviously, but are they someone we don't know or fake personalities of someone here? Are either of those links real? Did someone seriously hack Grundislav's computer/website? Which one? Both?

I need answers, people!

I lent a very nice friend my two Grim Fandango discs (which I got from another friend so it's not like I paid for them) and I got one back (I think). I'm sure he looked sincerely for the other one but given that he's moved house now, I don't hold out much hope for it :/ I'll buy it again if I see it somewhere but yeah, these games are getting harder and harder to find

I second the "cool" and the "welcome" sentiments.

I didn't bother reading any of the replies that mentioned any game other than...

Favourite Final Fantasy Game: Final Fantasy IV
Favourite character of that game: Rydia (also Edge)
Favourite location: Toroia (having trouble remembering the English version names so that may be wrong) / Secret programmers room / Land of Summon Monsters
Most memorable event: Rydia coming back to rescue you mid-fight / Palom and Porom commiting virtual suicide to save you / Cecil becoming Paladin / Yang killing himself to save everyone / Finding Yang again in the Sylph cave / Cid killing himself to save everyone / Edge killing his own parents to save everyone

There are too many great moments in that game. The thing I always point people towards is a GREAT article written by Tim Rogers from insertcredit.com

http://www.insertcredit.com/features/ffdog/ffiv/ffivindex.html

It sums up my feelings for the game -perfectly-.

Yesterday I bought FFIV on WonderSwan just because I have so much pure love for that game and I want everything to do with it ever. It's one of the greatest games ever... ahh, so many good times.

I don't know yet that international flights fly from Japan to Alicante, but I haven't looked properly yet... just throwing it out there that I too may be going to Barcelona.
#291
I um, was kidding :) Just in case you thought I was serious
#292
Thankyou Andail -_-
#293
Oh. Right.

This is serving to remind me of why I have little to no interest in western comic styles. Where are the cute babes?
#295
About being able to sit here for hours and reply?
#296
*yawn*

I have nothing to do at all today and yet I have to be at work. I can sit here for hours constantly replying and making you post these stupid pictures.
#297
*sigh*

See, I offered that Zelda pic as a peace offering, and you keep throwing out that same old tired joke.
