Quotespeaking of sprites, it would be nice to be able to re-order sprite folders.

Would anyone else find this ability useful?

Yes, I have a large game which equals many folders that I'd like to keep organised. But yeah, it's not a pressing issue, it would simply be nice.

Quoteonce i saw a cow who tried to lick meÃ,  but animal had so long tongue he coulnt get it in, tried and tried and tried but nothing. so cow left it to swing out.

That sentence freaks me out so much.

But favourite animal? My avatar says it all. I have one in my Australian home, and another in my Japan home, blissfully unaware that she'll be whisked away to the pet hotel after work today, not to see me again for 4 days. Poor Sophie.

That horse... that freaks me out too. It's a mistake of nature, I tell you!

There's a guy who goes by the name TPSReports on another forum I frequent, and everytime Office Space gets mentioned here, which is semi-frequently, I think of mentioning him and then I remember you guys don't know who he is :/

But hypnosis, yes... I mean, no. Never been hypnotised. I have a slightly curiosity about it, but I don't really want to be. I hate that idea of being out of control and not drunk.

The Dark Crystal is in the second layer of my childhood favourites. I remember it fondly, and I watched it a lot as a child, but I find I'm not that interested in it these days. My first level favourites are already filled up with Labyrinth and Goonies in first place, only slightly higher than Return to Oz and the Never Ending Story.

Alongside the Dark Crystal, I may place something like the Navigator... though I recognise the DC is a much better film than that. I have no explanation for why it isn't first level... :/ I just don't still have the spark with it that I've managed to retain with the others.

In that sense, I don't care so much that they're doing a sequel (meaning, I'm not horrified that a dear memory will be tainted)... it'll be interesting to see how it goes.

I'm still REALLY hanging out for the Last Unicorn remake though. Damn! Hope that's still going ahead.

Call me paranoid but I wanted to give everyone another chance to see this thread. Was just thinking that I have to get my own crap together to get my Something Released by Friday 14th, and it occured to me how horrific it would be if noone else knew about the deadline.

So, please read this thread. Oh wait, you have! Awesome :D

JJ, did you get that condescending prick attitude from your loving mom or your loving dad?

Vince, I love you SO much :D I'm gonna buy you ginormous Okinawan jug of beer, okay?

EDIT: Oh, TWO.

Well, I'll clear something up. Whether you want to call it tolerance, or acceptance, what I mean by "Accept the fact people wont stop having sex" (or whatever I said) is acknowledge it's a fact. Which is it :D

True, true. Speaking only for myself through, and trying to be as ambiguous as I can, for me... it's not that... that does that... it's before... so if that's quick... I'm okay with that...

You can't do something too right if it's only half way... "Well, we built half of the building perfectly, the other half well.. We got tired and rolled over and went to bed..."

Well, I guess we're assuming girls don't like a quick one either then :) (I was kidding though)

EDIT: I was JUST about to mention cats!! God damn it, that's three times today I've been about to post some facts and have been beaten to it >_<

Also, thanks a lot Eric, now I have "We built this city" stuck in my head.

I find that one of the biggest problems with modern Western society is that it tends to place sexual pleasure as the highest goal one must strive for. (Don't believe me? Go pick something random off your local magazine rack.) In my opinion, sex is overrated. Sure, it's fun, but it pales in comparison to many other higher pursuits. To give an example that some of you may be able to relate to, I find that releasing an adventure game I made all by myself and having hundreds of people all over the world play it and tell me they liked it to be infinitely more fulfilling than being physically pleasured.

Also, I find that the having kids part of sex is something that I, personally, look forward to more than the fun part. I'm always amused at how many people think of babies as a sexually-transmitted disease, when in fact, they're a lot more useful than that. After all, once they reach a certain age, you'll be able to make them do all your household chores. What's so terrible about that?

All true, but that doesn't take away from my original point. It's still one of those things that people will never stop doing all the time for fun. I kind of went through a 'meh' period of a couple of years in regards to sex, but it's been rediscovered ten fold. Everyone's different but you have to accept that sex IS highly valued by people, in general, and no amount of education or segregation or over-exposure will ever get rid of the fact. I just think we all need to acknowledge man's and woman's desire for sex as a constant.

I always liked the way Homer put it; "Son, a woman is like a beer. They smell good, they look good, you'd step over your own mother just to get one! But you can't just stop at one, you wanna drink another woman!".

Nik: I think maybe you're doing things a little too right if it's happening that fast ^_-

That was awe-inspiring! I'm sure as sure can be that the guy used save slots and slow downs to achieve that, but that barely makes it less amazing. That he/she sat there and figured out how to do all that is amazing enough.

Kinoko, you want to be hounded?
Here you go: Finish Gift of Aldora as soon as possible, so you can start working on Cirque de Zale 2!

No! I've changed my mind! Come back, zinc! Come baaaack!

(Actually, I have been thinking about CdZ2 lately, would it be death if I tried to work on that at the same time as GoA? Surely.)

It looks excellent!

But, I'm a little bothered by the dark marks on the doors... they stand out a bit too much, I think.

I don't like the Triz text. The T and Z are on different levels but the R and I are together which makes it look odd.

Otherwise, looks really good! :) Good luck!

Dargh, I was totally gonna post the 7 and 3 thing. Everyone's beating me to my posts today!

*gasp* Maybe... you're all psychically tuned to me!  :o

I'd usually pick 7 or 3 myself, before I ever knew this. Movies and books always use these numbers too (5 is also common when the other two just won't do), particularly 3. People like to think it's an out-there number, slightly off kilter. Wacky. Not two. 4 is rarely used except in Coming of Age stories about young girls, in which case it's frequent because that's how many types of personalities there are among pre-teen girls.

The Three Muskateers is a good example. Noone liked D'Artagnon. Is it because he's a little pussy? No! It's because he ruins the three.
