The only thing is you should try and make his arms swing slightly and for the body to bob up and down while taking each step. You know to add a depth of realism. Great though for what i am guessing is your first attemptÃ,

Ben304 -Ã,  that looks much better!! :oÃ,  The hair looks better that way and the overall shading looks better. Also I was never sure on how to draw a nose and mouth without making him look stupid. I was originally going to use black lines for the mouth and nose, but it looked sort of weird. But thanks that helped a lot!

Zor- Thanks!Ã,  I agree with what you said before...

The main thing that bothers me is I think his shoes are too big.

I have taken this into account and made his his shoes rounder and smaller.



But one thing is...

The rest of his body is also out of proportion IMO.

I wouldn't say it was out of proportion. He looks fine I think but I will check over it again later anyway.

The paint over is done very well! Bigmac look at what was done differently
and ask yourself why? If everybody in these forums asked why they would

Hey people! This is my first serious pixelated sprite attempt . It may feature in my game when september ends. It will perhaps feature in 'The Shining' part of the game . I felt the atmosphere would be sort of creepier in a sort of lo-res form.

I realise he has no mouth or nose and that his ears are'nt very easy to see, but this is what this forum is for isn't it! For some people in the community to point out anything that is wrong with it. Thanks in advance for any C&C.

My crits- 1. His arms look almost connected to his t-shirt. The clothing should be loose on his body. Unless it is meant to be tight.

Hello again!Ã, 
now that my prelims have started I have study leave!(YAAY!!)
So now I might have time to get this product started up again. I have started work on it again, doing sprites and backgrounds. I have now found joy in the wondrous world of flash. I was wondering would it be possible to put a flash movie within the game? And if not would it be possible to convert a flash file into a GIF or something within flash itself?
It would be good if anyone could help me with this. PM me if you can help me!

wooeee... thats a lot of posts to reply to! Akumayo i think you have a point but paint does have it's limits.But it is a handy program for sprites.Kinoko thank you for your comments but I actually did use hard line shading but i suppose I didn'tÃ,  make the shading dark enough or the picture large enough!
nikolasideris the arm i think is actually out of place. The arm is supposed to be going towards the view point.but thanks for your insight anyway!
Mordalles the arm is bent(i think....) but out of view.But i see what you mean about the hand being a bit small.

Like i said a err... exactly a week ago, i will put a scan (which i am at the moment  doing)computer coloured on here but I will try to find some time to finish it.

ildu it was mspaint but at the time i did it my photoshop wasn't working so i just used paint.It's working now though, and i scanned a drawing and I am colouring it in photoshop.Let's hope it comes out OK!

I am a teen and have sister who is a teen and I have to say this room is too tidy! There should be crushed clothes in the corner, a school bag on the bed ,open books and papers on the desk.Also most teens nowadays have computer so you could maybe add that too!Hope you find these crits helpful!

err...Ã,  deeply disturbing. These animations are not very realistic.
1) I doubt the guy who is getting his head crushed wouldÃ,  still have his legs standing.
2)The thing hitting his head has no detail whatsoever so we can't work out what it is.
3)Is this guy from the circus or something because he would make a ringleader a very rich man with that back of his.(flexibility)
4)The guy shooting himself seems to take the gun out of a pocket that magically appeared.
5)I believe that he would slump dead to the floor after the bullet has been fired.

That's all my crits.

Kickass picture! But I think you should get rid of the black outlines altogether. Also the door looks like it's painted onto the wall, but apart from that great job.
