When I talking about the manga style to it, I didn't mean I didn't like it. I actually watch manga and I think it's cool. So don't 'put it off' as you put because it looks good. Also on closer inspection of the kid I noticed it was slightly red-ish brown. So it's my bad.

I'd just like to say the portrait of the two main characters is amazingÃ,  :o.And see the character with red hair, he has a anime/manga look to him. I was wondering will other characters look this way too or was it not deliberate? ???

I've just realised how long it has been since I've posted a screenshot of the game. So here's a picture of a room I recently made.It's not quite finished but hey it's better than nothing.And also I can't make a demo for when I said obviously for the time I quoted.I will try and finish it soon.



Any comments would be appreiciated.Thanks

p.s I know the guitar looks pretty messed up.

EDIT: I have put a lot more effort into to this room than others.

Hey people! I just made a custom icon for my game using 'Paraben's Icon Builder' and named the file USER.ico and placed it in the compiled folder(like the AGS Guidebook told me).Then I started up the ags editor ,made sure it was making a windows executable and saved the game.Then I checked the icon was working but it was only the usual blue cup icon that made it work. >:(
Any help would be apprieciated! :)

I just have to say well done  :o This game looks extremely impressive! But I have to admit the character looks a bit well... small compared to his backrounds.I know Karimi said this a while ago but I just wanted to say. But what do I know, eh? My backgrounds and characters look like graffiti doodles you find on toilet walls compared to your artwork ^_^; . But hey looking forward to the game! :D

 Right demo will be done in about a week. It would be coming sooner but unfortunetly I realised that alone computer with drawn rooms that are not saved + little brother don't mixÃ,  >:(Ã,  :'(

I think you have a really good start but I agree with the thread heading it is quite boring. Add a table, a plant pot or curtains around the window(That is if this is in a house of course). But not bad for a first BG.Better than mine at any rate. ;) And guys I think the red outlines where a mistake.

I'm just posting to say that there has been a new screenshot posted. And also if anyone was wondering, I called the game 'When September Ends' because I decided to use the song by green day as it's theme tune.Don't tell them! :-[

Do you know what's more simple than downloading an app? Using folders! ::) I name a folder named after my game, then make differentÃ,  folders inside the game folder and then name them after the different sections(e.g. Characters, backgrounds, items etc.). 8) It's much more convieniant than downloading this app.

monkey_05_o6- cheerz for your suggestion but I'm not really looking to do shading. Animation in this resolution is hard enough.

Hey this is Bigmac 8) This is my new game When September Ends !The plot is as follows-:
A young scottish boy Chris catches a glimpse of the gadget ofÃ,  his dreams. A kind of VR helmet that takes him into games and tv programmes! But when he tests it out it goes horribly wrong!

RightÃ,  that's enough telling, I better start showing. :D

Right guys this is as far as I have got(Working Rooms) and basically I have just started. ButÃ,  I will keep you updated.

Okay guys! Thanks to the combined loss of time of my two week holiday just there and the studying for the fourth year prelims, the demo release has been postponed. I will try to finish it in any spare time I have but there's no promises.

Flukeblake is right that's what I was talking about. Ishmael see when you add a Timer how would you stop the timer from going off every time you enter the room cos in my game you will go back to the room which the sequence is in.But thanx though the code has worked so far.Cheerz

Hey Bigmac here! I was wondering, how do you make arcade sequences like in Broken Sword. You know like you have a time limit to do an action like duck as someone's about to shoot the character . Any replies would be appriciated.Thanks Bigmac
