It must have to do with the posters name and at least the first letter of the post. Cat's posts where way lower than Cassies. is it because she has just three letters and Cassie has 9? I also think it is not a puzzle of math but a puzzle of where the letter is in the alphabet. But it is not a simple transfer of the letter's number or at least not only that...

Some small comment about the walk cycle (maybe you should start a critic's lounge thread for this game, so Darth wouldn't get mad):
Instead of letting the characters mass centre differ on the x-axis (he moves left and right in the gif), you should try letting him differ on the y-axis. This way the walk looks more realistic. There is some characteristic walk cycle head movement you can find in every walk cycle tutorial. Maybe check them out.
