InCreator.
Even though I can't see it anymore. :'(

I'll take a look.
It may reveal a bug with the mac interpreter.
Cheers!

But that's pretty damn well spotted Steve, I hadn't noticed til you pointed it out.
I am the proof reading master.

Ah, but Alburquerque *is* the way they spelled it in 1780.
The master becomes the apprentice. You live and learn. Cheers!

This would make a great MAGS topic - most clichéd game.

Looks pretty nice!
If it's educational, you should spell Albuquerque correctly! :=

However, now that CJ has added sprite-cropping, this combined with sprite rotation MIGHT make floor textures a possibility. I'm looking into it.
You are crazy! I like it.
If you need help with the maths let me know - although it should be pretty much the same as the perspective calculations on the walls.
I would take a 2x2 tiled version of the texture, so that when it's rotated you can always take a square section from the middle and tile that. I think that'll help.

Yeah, if you read the first post you'll see that only OSX 10.4 is supported right now.
I'm going to try compiling for 10.1-10.3 eventually - probably not until AGS 2.71 is final though.

Very nice!
I'm interested to see where you take this.

(The F and G are hard to read.)

I got to the final action sequence in one sitting, broke my keyboard, then finished it first attempt the next day.
It was entertaining, but like I said earlier, I felt cheated by the length (about 3 hours).
I went back and reread the comic - I enjoyed that much more than playing the game.

Aren't you too tolerant and enlightened to be a cabbie?
Or have you started reading the Mirror?

Interesting to see the breakdown.
For example, two people said Two Of A Kind had abysmal graphics. I think this is a good case for throwing out the top and bottom X votes.

just noticed the POWER button is in the worst place possible if you use it like a nes controller. Hope you can disable it or something.

It's only a prototype. I'm sure they'll move it if it's a problem.
Notice that it's recessed though.

* Fixed pamela voice lip-sync not always processing last phenome correctly.

Wow, Pamela does a complete biological breakdown of the speaker? :=
Great beta as usual!

[EDIT] Script compilation is much faster here. And no obvious problems yet.

Only problem, I think this is going to break a whole lot, and hands are going to get tired.

Nintendo are well known for the durability of their products, unlike for example, Sony.
My Gamecube controller has been used a couple of hours a day for years, it's been thrown around and jumped on, and it still works fine.

Compared to using a keyboard and mouse, I imagine this is much more comfortable. Nintendo are very careful about ergonomics, etc. after the incident with the Pokemon tv show.

Well, that was shockingly short. Probably 3 hours of gameplay... Including 20 minutes of pounding my fist on the keyboard. I feel vaguely cheated.

At $20 per episode, I won't be buying again. If the next episodes are $10, maybe, but I'm pretty sure they won't be.

Does not bode well for Sam and Max...

Please don't ruin Futurama by saying it's about an adult Bart. :=
Bart is a boring character on his own, which is why Homer took over as the main character for most of the episodes. Fry mostly manages to fend off Bender.

As for mocking the retarded, Homer doesn't behave like a retarded character, and despite his base motivations he is an extremely lovable character, so I don't agree with you there Farl.

I think they've still got a lot to say on the Simpsons. Anything that can be critical of Fox and the current administration, and play on Fox, is a good thing in my book.

Those Stewie quotes definitely make me want to watch more Family Guy. Cheers!

Here`s the comic if anyone's interested: http://chickennation.com/cunt/

After the childishness of the "fight", I really didn't want to like the comic, but Raymundo Person is pretty damn good. I particularly like the Tobias character you took your avatar from.
Thanks!

Sounds cool, and the code looks pretty neat.
Except for the indiscriminate use of anonymous global ints. :=
#2139
Yup, the "action" sequences are atrocious. I just broke my keyboard (the back legs) in frustration. It's worse than the race in Mafia.
The rest of the game has been pretty good so far. Great characters as you'd expect from Bone. Not many great puzzles yet, but I hold out hope.

Damn you telltale! WHY? Stupid stupid race coders.
#2140
Wow, it's faster than I thought!

I don't know what's up with the sorting unfortunately. I don't have a lot of time to look at it right now. And the sector stuff you put in, while cool, makes it difficult to look at the layout! :=

The stair slowdown is, I presume, because it has to sort all those stairs into the correct draw order.

Looks promising!
