I read the treatment for Freddy vs Jayson vs Ash.. It wasn't bad.

Sam Raimi is still making them. See: Drag Me to Hell.

Raimi has consistently expressed interest in making Evil Dead 4. So has Campbell. Honestly, though, it's one of those things that happens. Directors, writers, actors can say whatever they want. To be honest, I highly doubt a sequel is going to happen. There's still a chance of a Raimi-produced remake, but again, I doubt it. Campbell won't even reprise his role as Elvis in Bubba Nosferatu, so why would he try to reprise the role of Ash. They are smart enough to leave it well enough alone, methinks.

But it's okay. Chances are high that Evil Dead 4 would've sucked, anyhow.

Sounds like you have some bad sectors or a bad master table. Either way, data recovery tools should have no problem recovering what you need. There are data rescue boot CDs out there. I don't know any off hand, but google that phrase and I'm sure you'll find something. You could even try repairing the MFT or scan it for bad sectors. Although the later might ruin the data if it doesn't go so well.

If the data is super important, you might wanna bite the bullet and pay for a data recovery tool. I had to once, it was the only way (but well worth it).

GK1 has also been done very well. I'm doing Phantasmagoria as we speak. Playing it blind, so I won't top Spoony I'm sure, but I'll give it a try.

I think I might do a blind play-through of Phantasmagoria myself before i get Emilie involved.... I'll be back later with news on that.
