Working in a games shop makes you part of the industry.

Writing a games blog makes you a games journalist.

Very, very open interpretation of the two terms.

But sanctimony is so fun! It makes me feel better about myself! I need this to make up for my lack of self affirmation!

Now, I can't decide whether to claim that all Americans or all Muslims are ignorant and prejudiced today

Warren J. Harding.

Worst. President. Ever.

William "I'm-so-fat-I-got-stuck-in-my-bathtub" Taft

Second. Worst. President. Ever

Also, disregarding the negative columns of respective presidents, Nixon had at least two achievements whereby he opened up relations with the PRC and ended Bretton-Woods, but the plus column for the current administration is lacking.

Come on guys, lets compare postives and look on the bright side of life :=

I'm surprised the commonly used phrase isn't 4 characters, since my lecturer mentions that preference EVERY SNGLE TIME we learn a new phrase.

Nixon had 15% approval in 1973 [after getting 60% of the vote in '72]. I don't think Bush has dived that low yet.

It keeps reminding me of The Sims in a targeting non-gamers regard, and that was profitable.

X-Box 360, Revolution, then Magnum X-Treme, Cougar?....they all sound like what focus groups of Gamers [captial G] thought sounded cool, and what is cool to Gamers [capital G] easily puts off others [like me]. Why not let the Gamers stay with the other two and reap the huge potential market. Hell, the more the Gamers dislike the name and the controller, the more appealing it gets to others!

Eytmology and tautology are fun.

From here, as a person who has never owned a console, not ever been interested in a console before, I'm actually interested in the Wii. I'm sure I'm not the only person in a greatly expanded market which comes from innovation, rather than hurling numbers of specs regarding polygon counts on chainmail bikinis at each other.

and since the Office of Strategic Services claimed in 1943 that Hitler was "an extreme masochist who derives sexual pleasure from having a woman squat over him while she urinates or defecates in his face", we can see the whole sinister plot begin to unfold.

No no no! You're not meant to give in when there's a discussion on the internet! You're meant to bring up nazis or something!

Bear in mind that Western and Eastern buisness practice is generally very different. Traditionally, it's the American/European companies that focus on short-term profit whereas the Asian business model tends to project at least ten years into the future.

hahahahahahahahahahah. I'm sorry, but for someone who spends much of his time studying how the rediculous short term profit making mentality of the late 80's and early 90s is largely to blame for the 15 year stagnation in the Japanese economy, this is hilarious. Long term thinking doesn't create speculative bubbles, let alone massive real estate and stock market bubbles at the same time, let alone the [then] largest stock bubble and a real estate bubble that values land in Tokyo as more than the entire land mass of the United States.
And it's only 9 years since short term thinking in most of the rest of East Asia pulled the region into crisis.

Nah, I'm afraid whether nihonjinron or Lee's "Asian Values" is cited, they're just as greedy and stupid as the rest of us.

hah, if internet problems were real life problems there'd not be a single new book-movie-game system-comic-song that was ever popular. Only people who illogically disdain [or occasionally illogically gush] post endlessly, and false consensus is reached.

Then in the real world, the good sells anyway.

The "Lost in Space" element makes it sound like "Escape From Jupiter", which I never watched much, but seems the most likely guess.

Executive Producers.

A world away from actually producing. (sued)

Footage of the D-Day landings was actually filmed in Arizona, and the fall of the Berlin Wall was stock footage of a Newark school being demolished.
