Jeez Nipper, no wonder Overlord is upset. http://www.dead-code.org/index2.php/en years and years of work, and you shit on it because of a silly holiday that amuses only the feeble minded?

As it's actually a Czech flag, we'll be keeping the cup blue. Velvet revolutions, blue velvet.

It's an indicator of how joyous this event is.

It's only really a gamma release, there's still some coding issues in the Yugasaki arena puzzle, but apart from that it's playable, it a lacklustre effort from someone who should produce a far higher standard of product.

Is Kinoko telling the truth?

Be fair Timosity, Queenslanders would get confused using all those buttons on the clock twice a year.

haha, Freemasonry is just like Rotary, except with handshakes and no median strips that they call parks. My friend's local voting booth is the nearest masonic hall, and most of my male ancestors in the past 3 generations were masons since up to the Wran government in NSW, you more or less had to join the Freemasons or the Catholics to get anywhere in the public service. Nothing sinister or conspiratorial about it, just the fact that patrons always favour those they know, and these two groups happened to be the two social groups. They may as well have been cricket or rugby clubs.

Hell, the nearest lodge advertises in the program of a tiny one screen cinema in the suburbs.

God help us if these people control global finance and the secret of the holy grail!

Which would be impressive for a film which could, by way of analogy with SSH's complaint, be based in Lisbon and represent Spain.

The main thing I liked about the comic [It tended to get get into Moore's typical mires at times unfortunately] was the way the creators had managed to create a fascism that had an inately British character about it, rather than being Nazism transplanted onto Britain.

Hopefully that came through on the film.

I'd advise you to go to Tasmania and take a look at the Wilderness and other natural things, since I think they're gorgeous, and Darwin and surrounds is also good for that. I'd wait a bit before going to Melbourne, just so the Empire Games kefuffles have died down, and anyway, you see one Australian City you've seen them all :p .

I'm 200km north of Sydney in Newcastle, but I don't know if it'd be worth coming up just to see me.

[Incidently, if you were flying this time last year, you could have got a ticket to Melbourne from Sydney or Melbourne for $28]

It was an AGS Phriday on these forums. That's why Ghor's effort was so infantile yet masculinely voiced.

hence the "anti nihonjinron" comment kinoko. So much comes from a bizaare melding between the national inferiority complex and the chauvanism of nihonjinron. Both are stupid and Japan would be the better for shedding both of them.

Also, there's the highly irritating fact that the majority of Japanese women I've met claim "white guys look better" [probably a higher proportion since they've travelled here for some reason]. That's just fucking stupid.

The Soviet Union.

Fun history lesson. In the Heinan period, in the wake of Korean domination, the artwork reflected aesthetics that looked like Koreans rather than the mongrel Malay-Korean of the average Japanese.

Rocket forward to the past 60 years. Work it out.
