Reincarnation seems like a likely prospect.

After all, from experience we say that life's a bitch. And the worst joke it could pull is to make us suffer through a life, just to do it again....and again.

I like the fact that if kids laugh at you you can pray and god will send bears to kill them.

THAT's religion :D

Channel 9 made a mint selling Farscape around the world, and never showed it genuinely here.
meh.

And Mad Max lags behind Stone, even if you only look at antipodean films.

A pointless little fact. Murder rates are higher where capital punishment is in force (That's in a psychology textbook I have)

And don't leave out the Sirens Of Titan remixor. It's also good for an introduction.

Satire is almost absurdist. Nothing's more absurd than reality.

I finished "Stand On Zanzibar" by Brunner a week ago, but it still has a large impact.

Now I'm reading "First And Last Men" by Stapledon.

Game of the year, officially?
Did UNSCOP (United Nations Special Commision On Games) confirm this?

AGA-Perhaps it's the regions. Sony seems to be about the only company in the world that thinks it can pull off using regions in it's players.

But [at least here] there's cheap CD's that fix that.

then again, I may be completely wrong, After all, I use a DVD player for DVDs.

Many people will say that GF isn't really a 3d game. Sure it has polygoned characters, but it's still a 2d environment except you use the keyboar and can walk behind static objects.

And you could do that in KQ, which was also billed as a 3d game.

However, in terms of good 3d adventures.

Under a Killing Moon, Pandora Directive and presumbly Overseer. It's certainly 3d graphically (despite the Duke Nukem 2 1/2 d spiriting) and in terms of game play, since it was necessary to properly look for things, rather than scrolling a mouse across a 2d background for hotspots.

the same can be said for GK, with was fully polygoned, and utilised 3d to a large extent in game play.

Of course there's a suggestion that this is the result of medical technology, but hey.

It's Krepschtenkoist.

I don't want to go into it too much.

The "Ussian" occupation by R and Pr produced some strange shit though.

Laya-Not surprisingly we work the longest hours in the industrialised world outside South Korea,

And 80% of overtime is unpaid.

Surprising considering we got the 8 hour day 4 decades before most of the world.
