Hi everyone!
I'm working on a social-realistic/poetic one room game called "Seabird". The game's has been under production for a while and will probably (hopefully) be done in may. Now I'm looking for a skilled acoustic guitarist to re-record an already existing track badly recorded and played by yours truly. The structure and key of the track has to be the same (I will probably try to do a transition from the crappy recording to your crisp and beautiful one, in-game), but there's definitely room for improvisation. If this sounds interesting please contact me via this thread or pm, with a sample of your work. If there's more question about the game or anything else, feel free to ask! Note that I can't offer you anything for your work other than credits in the finished game (which will be free).

Very nice!
I used to do lots of stopmotion in school, mostly with legos!
I agree on the geography and the camera movement. Also, put some sound on it and it will be even better!

Monsieur, I think this is a brilliant idea and I would very much benefit from watching videos of all your suggested subjects. Start producing!!

Ok, this was bit akward. I actually didn't try the 32-bit setting in AGS since I figured it should be enough as long as the bg and the game had the same depth. Setting the ags depth to 32-bit and reimporting the bg fixed it. Thanks for the help and taking your time!

It actually happens with both direct draw 5 and direct3d 9.
I'm running 3.2.1.

edit:
actually the colors are off even in the editor.

So, it feels like I should know this, but I guess I don't. I've also tried finding answer on the forum, but without any luck.

Why does, regardless of color depth of image or game, my bg look like this in photshop:

But like this in AGS:

Is there a way to solve this or do I have to redo the bg with fewer colors?

I'm sold! I haven't actually thought much about the site, and I think it looks alright, but your mockup is awesome! It looks modern and fun, but most of all inviting. It makes me want to make adventure games. Your new version makes me think the site would benefit from an update.

His passing moved me more then I could have imagined. I haven't ready any of his books for atleast 10-12 years, but he was such a big part of my adolescense and childhood. He made my life easier and better in so many ways. I really feel a sense of loss. And that I miss him. The world is a little less fun.

Since I've taken it upon myself to post these but not translate them, here you are from this months "top ten downloads":

I'd say ghosts live of fear. Perhaps bait with something scary? Or rather: something scared.

Perhaps if someone outside of China already has the file they can put it up?

Looks great! Love the style.

This is an absolutly insane blitz. So many entries. And it really feels like the artistic braintrust of ags. So very hard to vote.
But, here we go:

- Concept - Andail. I love the stranded boat feeling. And it's so big it gives me the shivers. Really nice.

- Playability - Misj. Feels like there's lots of stuff to do here.

- Artistic execution: ThreeOhFour. Without question the hardest category, but this one makes my heart skip a beat.

Granted, but the rent is a billion dollars a month.

I wish I could fly.

Hi anshinin! I think the walking suits the graphic style well, but the upper body feels a bit stiff. I would like to see some movement in the arms and head!

Granted, but global warming means there's never any snow. Besides, the lift NEVER works.

I wish I didn't need sleep.

I'm baron. I wrote his last comment plus everything he will write from this moment and on.

Granted, but every controller stick on earth is botched and you can never turn left.

I wish for an end of neofascism in Europe.

I really like him! Looks like a fun guy :-D
The only thing that's bothering me a bit is the shading, or rather the highlights, on the pants.
