OK, so I'm catching a plane to the UK on monday, and I will arrive at Heathrow on tuesday night.

For those who may not know, I am from Australia.

Since I have a british passport, this is an open ended working holiday. I do not know if i will return to Australia or what will really happen.

I bought a one way ticket.

Now as there are many UK agsers, It would be interesting to meet some of you. After all the only people I know over there are my relatives and my best friend.

So pm me your mobile phone number, and your location. I will try to visit many of you! And we can get drunk on fosters and find some sheilas and stuff.

I will be staying in london for the 1st week, and if i don't get a job by then, it's off to the relatives.

The idea for this thread came from some of the veteran AGSers being nostalgic and browsing the old Ezboard forums. There was a rather interesting thread on the topic of sex.

For those who are interested, here it is: 'When was the last time you had sex?'

It would be interesting to see how much has changed in people's opinions on the topic. People change their outlook on many topics as they grow older, for better or worse. And for the newer members, it would be interesting to hear your opinions as well.

In the last few years, many people are using alternatives to the traditional way of meeting the opposite sex by use of Internet dating sites, as opposed to going to bars/clubs or 'hooking up' with a friend of a friend. Opinions on the changing face of dating would be great as well. Experience with dating sites, if you have any, would be awesome.

So there, you have the subject, now discuss.

I will add my input on the topic, but I am tired right now.

For those who think this thread is praising the wonderfulness of Valentines Day, you will be sadly mistaken.

Today, I decided that I hate Valentines Day.

This hatred springs from my social observations.

The one where 13 year olds think they are in love cause they made out with a hot guy/girl and now they are in love and are going to get married OMG!1!!1

The day of Valentines is rumoured to have been about the Emporer Claudius in Rome a bloody long time ago. He felt that single men made better soldiers. So he outlawed marriage for all young men. So then there was this Priest by the name of Valentine, who didnt agree with claudius, and married young men to their ladies in SEKRET. Claud found out and had Val thrown into the slammer! Val got a bit into the jailers daughter and sent her a letter on Feb 14 signed 'From your Valentine', hence the oh so great Day was born.

Now thats nice. Sure, if you truly love someone, i guess it is nice to send a valentine. If you have someone you would like to bed, send them a valentine.

Its the teen variety of valentine that pisses me off. I saw probably 20 12 year old girls with balloons that say 'I love you' on them... NO YOU DON'T!!! YOU JUST WANT TO STRING THEM ALONG THEN ATTEMPT TO SCREW THEIR BRAINS OUT BUT JUST BEFORE YOU CHICKEN OUT, BUT STILL TELL YOUR FRIENDS YOU DID!!!!!

um...

Anyway. I don't think that they are mature enough to know what love is. I'm 21 and I still truly don't know, cause I have never fully experienced it. I've had relationships with ladies, but have never felt love.

Maybe I'm just a bitter old man.

But those balloons and roses piss me off in the hands of 12 year olds.

And they are so loud!!! My god! I couldn't hear myself think over their fucking loud sqeaky talking.

BTW, I was at the shops today, I don't hang around 12 year olds intentionally in my free time.

Well the game i plan to make is called Generic Adventure Game, and these are sprites i played around with for the main character.

So which style would youl, the player, like to see in teh game. An old-school EGA adventure, a cartoony one (like say Rode Quest 2) or A VGA sierra type adventure.

I plan to also do some sample Backgrounds in the same style which i will also post in this thread.

I am living in a state of fear.

I am currently seeing a girl who can get me into alot of trouble.

See. This girl is my bosses girlfriend. She also works as a manager for dominos, and is going out with our regional manager. She is also in fear. If she breaks up with him, she is fearful she will lose her job.

She wants to be with me.

I want to be with her.

He treats her like dirt, he knows he has the power over her. It is so unbelivebly cruel. I used to think he was a nice guy, but from what i've heard, he has a very different side when it comes to his girlfriend. He calls her names. He even said to her that she looks like a whore. He wants her to change who she is to suit himself.

And it is so difficult. He is already suspicious. I am not allowed to go to her store. We are not allowed to talk to each other. He wouldnt even let her out of the car when he dropped some stuff off to us.

I do not want to lose my job.

This guy is always one step ahead. The only way to beat him is to be 2 steps ahead. Which is hard. He will think out the answers to questions people may ask him even before they ask him.

It is so hard on me because if we are found out i'm totally screwed. And so is she. We will both lose our job, as he will of coarse find an excuse to fire us both. It is wrong but true. He bought it on himself with the way he treated her.

Every second we are alone we like totally go crazy for each other, even though there is a chance of being noticed by someone who could get back to the regional manager, her boyfriend.

Very bad situation. But even if we didnt do what we have done, he would still be super suspicious. I was banned from her store long before it even happened.

And that is my story for the week.

Aright, just a warning before i start my rant, this is a story about my admiration for a girl. It's also a story about my hatred for one atm. To top it all off, it's also a story of me and my cheery red headed friend known as Ronald (as in macdonald, although his real name is simon.)

As some of you may or may not know, i really dig a chick called Emma. i met emma through a friend and we quickly became friends. we do stuff together like go to the movies and other stuff. Anyway, I was out at the Victory last night, a place i like to call my pub. I'm not alone, as many other people are regulars there. I used to hang out at a place called Mary St enough that the bouncers knew me, but it kinda went downhill very quickly. The victory is great, there is a beer garden with live music downstairs and a dance bar upstairs.

I happened to notice that Emma was there last night, with some friends. So i waited till the time was right, and slid up next to her at the bar. I waited till she noticed me, and we talked for a bit about random crap. These people i'd like to call tossers were toucing her ass while she was at the bar so she decided to go back downstairs. After i collected my bourbons, i went downstairs. Basically said hello again, and stood there like a dickhead while she chatted to her friends. I got bored rather quickly, so i went back to my friends.

Now i dont know how many of you know, but i don't like going to the casino. This is due to the fact that i generally lose money there. Anyway, simon, one of his friends and me went to the casino to meet more people they knew. Those people just left, but simon begged me for 5 dollars, which i gave to him. since i only had a 20, we cashed it all for chips. He lost my 5 dollars, then i lost my 15. A nice kiwi fellow decided to let simon play a few hands and simon would keep the winnings. Well Mr Kiwi man, hope you are happy that simon lost you about $50.

On the way from the casino to the embassy (a club that is so dead, it's starting to smell funny) i stopped to take a piss on the stairs going down to the bus terminal. Then i saw it, an atm. I needed some money as the casino stole all of mine, so i put my card in.

And the fucking machine shut down. My card was trapped in the dreaded atm!!! I punched it and banged on it for a while. I was so pissed off. Simon head butted it twice. I got the shits and i kicked the screen in an attempt to break it. Such fury. The machine did not break. THe machine had won.

I had no money no cigarettes, and no dignity. It was time to meet simons bogan friends.

I managed to scrounge enough cash together to get one 241 drink at the embassy. cool. It didnt last long and my stress levels were rising due to me being nicotine free. We then went to the down under bar, a backpacker joint known well for it's cheap drinks and even cheaper women. Looking at the talent on offer, we decide we could find much better at a chook raffle, so we met simons friends at the stocky. A very posh kinda rich bitch prick joint. Suave, sophisticated and stuck up. We needed some drinks. So we targetted 2 chicks, who on introduction we found them to be americans. damn. So we chatted to them, smoked their wacky cinnamon cigarrettes and put the question to them about the drinks. They pissed themselves laughing. We tried to convince them it was the done thing in australia, but they didnt believe us. Damn.

As this story is getting long, i'll cut to the chase. I decided to go home. On my way to my ride, i saw emma again. The chick i'd had an interest for a few months was wrapped around some dude. They were friendly in way i wish i was with her.

i hung my head down and looked at her. the last i saw of her was a little purple g-string sticking out above her pants.(or thong for you americans...).

Oh life is shit right now for me. I hate my job, my life and atm machines.
