1st thing the artwork is fine. Even though storyboards don't need excellent art, they just need to convey what is going on in a scene.

And for whether or not you should use this??? It's your game, it doesn't really matter what anyone thinks but yourself.

Aim only to please yourself, and others should enjoy it too.

The most interesting thing about the olympics is 'The Dream- in athens'. Most of you probably dont know what it is.

The only events people watch are swimming and running. No one cares about true sports like greco-roman wrestling!!!

Ok.

Timeframe.
I would say october is better only because you can really take advantages of the beautiful australian beaches. The daytime temperatures should reach 28-30 degrees celcius. If you decide that January would be great then expect 45 degree weather. Winter, I for one would not like to sleep in a tent as the temperatures go down to 7 degrees celcius.

Location.

My suggestions are as follows.

Noosa, sunshine coast, queensland, which has a nice big ass beach, camping grounds, a national forest (which has a most excellent walking track), lots of shops, lots of japanese tourists, and lastly a clothing optional beach. :p

Surfers Paradise, Gold coast, Queensland, is a big comercialised holiday spot with a great nightlife, fuckloads of shops, long ass beach, and scooter hire. Full of police. Casino. No nude beaches though.

Byron Bay, NSW. Yeah, hippies, but not as bad as nimbin. Indulge in the fine dope you could find quite easily here, dodge the KOMBI's. They hold an annual blues and roots music festival here each year. At least with hippies, they are generally very mellow people, and wont bother you. You could probably go for a bit of nuded up swimming here, as the hippies sure won't care.

Wagga Wagga. Love the name. Thats it. Never been there, so I don't know much more. :)

Babe factor.

Yeah, very nice specimens. except at Byron, the chicks there are hippies and are too doped up to be attractive.

Accomodation.

There is a youth hostel in every city, campsites in abundance and caravan parks. Don't go for a hotel.

That said, I recommend you don't spend all that money and not see the rest of australia. Take half a year off from uni or your jobs, get a working holiday visa (if you can) and see Australia!

After all, it's very expensive to get over here, It's a 25 hour flight as well.

General Discussion / Re: Are YOU in a band?
Wed 04/08/2004 17:40:27
I played bass for a punk rock band. We played 2 gigs. The singer/guitarist couldn't sing. The other guitarist was excellent. The drummer didn't like punk rock at all. Then I realised I didn't feel satisfaction in playing four notes a song really fast. I suppose you could say we are still a band even though we havent played together for over a year.

These days I just like to get together with my other musician friends and jam.

My canadian uncle is an excellent guitarist and me and him jammed last night. It was awesome. First time i've played bass for a while (since I've been obsessed with my squire telecaster and playing it every chance I get) But he was impressed with my knack to be able to 1. catch on quickly, and 2. play blues/50's rock bass.

It was a lot of fun.

I would also like to record my songs i've written, with me playing the guitar, bass and vocals and the computer playing the drums...

Wait a sec! Why do converse even have to advertise Converse all-stars. They are probably THE most popular shoes ever, and now come in a large range of colours. Vintage 2004?!!? Pfft, more like 1970-ish. The design has never been updated for christs sake! Which is nice. I have a blue pair and they are the best damn shoes ever. I wore my old pair out until the soles disintergrated.

And about the movie. I enjoyed it for what it was. A futuristic detective action-adventure.

Although I did notice the overuse of product placement.
