Did you see the original demo quest 2 that was in production? You could learn a lot from it.

Most excellent!

Do you have a piranha tank with a bridge over it which retracts at the push of a button so to do away with insolent henchmen/associates?

A Big ass desk in which to plot your evil plans with your evil associates?

A token black henchman who says delightful phrases like 'Yo, what up!' and most importantly 'WURD!!!'

And zombies. You can never have enough living dead.

I'd have to say that I think The Darkness is underrated in Australia ^_^ They're appeciated in Britain, as I understand, but honestly, hardly anyone really knows about them here. I always get responses like, "Eh?" when I mention liking them.

They get a lot of radio play nowadays, in brisbane, where you live. I think it's more a fact that people know the song, but not the artist.

Cj, this new forums allows people to post bitmaps! Dammit! I want the 'I'm with stupid' replacement back!

I have dial up and it sucks when people post bitmaps, cause they load hella slow!
#1087
Oy!

Don't post bitmaps!!!

Dick! Some of us still have dial up!

That technique is one of the basics of writing lgm. it is used in films, books, and games. I'm suprised you havent heard of it before.

I don't think we really need any more pirate games unless they are so awesome they rock peoples worlds.

But centaurs could be interesting.

I can't remember, but i'm pretty sure a continueous loop can be done. I might be imagining things though. CJ will know.

I think you should change the skin tone so it doesnt look like he is sunburnt. The only reason sierra used red for faces in sq4,kq5, and others was due to the fact the sprites in the first sci point and clicks were 16 colours.

IT's great.

Of coarse you could script it to only play the laughing frames when she tells something funny.

There was a test demo thingy where this was done. I can't remember who made it, but i know it is possible. I was gunna use this effect for the RON town square, as in my eyes it is round. It would have been alot of fun to utilise.

Police Quest: Open season used photo-sprites with photo backgrounds.

It made for an interesting effect...

Y'know rave, there are currently 5 Harry Potter books. And after the success of the 1st two films and the book series, naturally, they would be making the rest of the books into films.

And they aren't just 'little kids' books as you put it. They are quite and enjoyable series of books. I know people of all ages who enjoy it, both male and female. (although most males who have read it will not admit it)

And no-one in this thread compared LOTR to HP. You must be imagining things or reading Harry Potter websites.
