It's not just physical. This sounds cheesy, but she can be alot of fun to be around, not in the kissing sense. We have a similar point of view of the world as me. And she has a deep love of animals, but she will eat them for food as well, which I respect. And I've said before, we can talk for hours on end about nothing and everything, forget about everything else around us, and I like that.

We are finally going to get to have a chat tonight, so we will see. Things look kinda positive. There is no point in me investing a great deal of emotional energy into something that may never be.

It's kindof a fucked up date for me now, one of the guys is leaving on the 17th of july, so i'm not sure if a weekend off then is viable. i'll have to find out.

The biggest game is on this Sunday at 5pm. Australia v Brazil. Should be interesting, especially if Australia pull out all the stops, and can manage to fend of the brazillians. I hope they at least draw. That would be a fantastic result. Even better would be to humiliate the Brazillians with a crushing defeat. They just need to play clean and play strong and they have a chance. After all, it's the world cup, if they are good enough to get there, who knows what is possible. They are on a huge hign after destroying Japan. Brazil just scraped by with that goal against croatia. Croatia have a loss in the bag. goal wise, Australia are on top. Bring it home boys!!!*

Well the thing is, we don't just kiss. When we do stay up til stupid o'clock in the morning it's usually mostly talking. I could be walking along the corridor upstairs, and if we meet, she will grab me and push me against the wall and kiss me. So i think the feelings are mutual.

About the old man, his story is interesting. He needs friends. His mother died a few weeks ago, and her funeral was on his birthday. His son is in the clink for possesion of a fuckload of drugs and for assulting a police officer. His most recent girlfriend left him recently also. So he needs company. He is a nice man, and he is handling his situation in an extremely well way.

To LJUBI, I never said anything about love. I said I liked her. I may grow to love her perhaps. But it is far too early for that.

And to Helm, good advice. It wasnt so much I was going to talk about the situation. I just want to clarify that she is interested in me and would like to make a go at it.

I have been a bit silly at first, I may have been over-crowding her a bit. I will attempt to stop this. Just hang out for maybe 1 or 2 hours a day, unless she want to hang out more.

The thing is, we are very comfetable with each other, we hug, kiss, hold each other, what not. It's definitly a two sided attraction, I think I just spent too much time with her at first. It was good to be alone to think about all this, for the both of us.

He's a German. He works here in the kitchen. She works in the kitchen. He is very protective of her, treats her like the daughter he never had.

Girl problems. Great things aren't they.

There is this girl. Her name I won't mention, but she works with me, and she lives a room away from me above the pub. I once said I'd never want to be with an English girl.But I do. She is pretty. We can stay up to all hours of the morning. We kissed last Saturday night (well 3am sunday morning) We had a few drinks after work. We went to talk in her room. We got all cosy. We kissed. alot.

Since then, every moment alone, the same thing happens. We kiss alot.

I haven't slept with her yet.

On Monday, She was working, I was not. I saw her just before she started her shift that night. We kissed a bit. Going downstairs, in the corridor, she grabbed me and snogged me. It was nice.

She was working for 4hours, so I drunk a few vodkas in the pub with friends and locals. A few vodkas equates to about 6 Vodka and cokes. Not a big binge or anything. I went to see her after work. She said she told the German chef, that they would have a chat. She asked me to take her to his room. He told me not to come in. She said to let me come in for a bit. He said 'the girl told me to tell you she wants you to stop harrassing her in her room.' I was shocked. She told me that was not true quietly.

I went downstairs to drink some more. When she had finished her chat with the German chef, i knocked on her door. She told me to come it. We had a chat, and she told me that he was stirring shit.

The next day, the German Chef told me to stay out of the kitchen, and the same thing that he said the night before. Even though she woke me up to walk one of the locals dogs, who was away on holiday. I was angry. So I got very drunk.

I talked to her that night, and things should hopefully be sorted out.

I just need clarification on her feelings and everything. But she has been away at the German Chefs house in Liverpool since tuesday night. Which is a good thing, because it means we've both had time to think about feelings and everything. She will be coming back at stupid o'clock tonight. I texted her, she replied, and said she is looking forward to seeing me when she returns. So I guess its all good, I just need clarification on where I stand and what will become of us.

I just want to know her feelings on everyhting between us, so if its not going to be, I don't get too involved. I really like this girl, and would like to have a proper relationship with her if possible.

I know how you are feeling. Personally I will drink by myself, but only in a social situation, like a pub. My biggest problem is that I will drink when I get depressed. Self-medicating, but not the healthiest thing to do. Tuesday was the last time that happened. I started drinking at about 12:30pm (it was my day off). I paced myself well, as by 6pm, i'd only had 4 beers (bottled, at a pub). I came back home to the pub I work in, and i started drinking pints. I had about 5 and then I started drinking wine, of which I had 3 small glasses, the last of which I did not finish.

There must be some point in the last year which spurred your habit. A bout of depression, a stressful work or home life perhaps. Or simply availability.

The owner of the pub I work in certainly has a drinking problem. He is a Class A alcoholic. He will go to the celler, have a few bottles of beer, and hide the evidence, albiet not well. He will pour or take a bottle in the morning, and find us odd jobs to do that get us out of the bar, or he will take one when my back is turned and take it to the restaurant. He was confronted by the manager, he admitted to his problem, but He has done nothing to rectify his situation, and was back to his old tricks within 3 days. We are all concerned for his health, and for his family. He drink-drives, sometimes with his four year old daughter in the car. Which is the part that angers me about it most. He needs to wake up and get help. Last weekend, I did a stock up the night before, and opened a new box of becks. I had taken two bottles from that case. By the time I stocked up that night, there were 2 bottles left in that box. A case of 24. 20 bottles of 5% lager in the space of 13 hours. Not to mention his 'quick' halves he had between shift and pints after work. I felt sick.

You are not as bad as this man, but if you don't try to rectify the problem now, it will spiral out of control, and you could end up like this. The worst thing is, this mans father is a reformed alcoholic. We think his justification is that he is only drinking beer, not spirits. it is all alcohol. And the fact he drinks half may be a justification as well.

I only wanted to cuddle up to him, and maybe if he's up to it, feed him some sausage... *

i may not be able to go... i might just not have the funds to do both brittens and mittens. if i do go i'd appreciate a lift from cj, i get get as far south as MK, buckingham or brackley, whichever is easier for cj.

Look for something post 2002 on ebay, and it will do all you really need. Mine is a IBM thinkpad circa 2000, and it can run ags, it can play dvds and other cool stuff. The model I have has cooling issues, so dont buy a T20. But i think anyhting past 2002 should be fine.

Its quite interesting what you say about chavs. Because where I live now there are no chavs. But there are many fat women. Which concerns me a bit. The thing is they arenet fat all over. They just have big jelly bellies. Their asses arent bad. They have nice tits and face, but their bellies are quite massive, and they wobble when they walk.

I live near nothampton, apart from the polish, blacks ( i don't mean offense by this...) and other eastern europeans, the majority of people, especially school kids are goths or punks. I've never seen so many converse allstars in my life. And they are my favourite shoe... But it still sucks, since i was wearing converse when these kids were still in daipers... (a blatant lie, i started wearing them about 7 or 8 years ago... but close enough)

I have been out of the country for almost 2 years now, so thats kinda expected. But I hope QLD win. State pride I guess...
