I think names are important. I have a long list of names i may use in the future. Most of them have a very traditional english background. My favourite is Quintin. I like the surname Blythe quite a lot.

List of names,

Charlie Baker, derived from a certain prince and a street a famous detective lives on.

Martin Page, good strong name Martin is, met many, and Page is the surname of my old boss.

William Macarthur, I like William, Will and Bill. Macarthur is the name of one of my relatives (who is also related to Dame Ellen Macarthur)

Ian Knight, Ian is good. Knight is strong and memorable.

Samantha Wilmot, nice name Samantha. Wilmot is a very english name i like.

Zia Adams, Zia is a cool unique name. Adams is generic.

Lord Edward Blythe, very traditional. Blythe being very english sounding.

These names can be chopped and changed.

General Discussion / Da Vinci Code Redux

Firstly, I don't want this thread to erupt into a flame war.

So the rules are...

1) If you have personal issues with the catholic church, post them with respect, outlining real reasons for your belief.

2) Respect other peoples beliefs.

3) If you can't say something polititly, don't freaking say it.

Anyway,

On to the Da Vinci Code.

I am one of the people who actually enjoyed the Da Vinci Code. It certainly kept me reading from cover to cover. Perhaps this was due to a familiar context. You see, an adventure game used this exact same back story. It was a little known game called Gabriel Knight: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned. The two fictional creations used the same source material, a little known book until recently called Holy Blood, Holy Grail.

Critics have slammed the film 'the Da Vinci Code' due to the fact that it apparantly a boring piece of shit.

I will reserve my judgement for when i see it myself.

Perhaps it is true that Jesus married Mary Magdelene. Maybe he didn't. Maybe Jesus didn't exist. It's fun to speculate.

If you're a barbarian, then you should probably join our rebellion. They probably think that you're a sick filthy outsider who speaks a germanic or hun language.  :=

Teh rebellion will be defeated with teh sekret powers!!!

I call upon Andy Penis, Little willy and Nigel Manning Smith to join the army of Christopia as our supreme commanders!!!

I vote for pablo, for the sheer absurdity of his entry!

I think Krysis should choose for this one by default, as this Mordalles character has not shown up, and it's already 2 days past the closing of the comp. And since he is unattainable, it's just the right thing to do...

I say Krysis should choose because he was responsible for the previous SJ.

We have no tolerance for rebels.

Rebel scum...

As ambassador, I will meet with the rebels and discuss their issues. After that, it will be decided if they shall be directed to the Law ennforcement agencies...

Do we have a secret service... It would be a good idea... just to sort out these commie riff raff...
