I could be an ambassador. An ambassador for the people. Elect Layabout as your Good times ambassador.

This reminds me of this...

Interesting idea.

I'd like to a minister, or an ambassador.

at least you are taking a bit more time on the outlines, the wheels are still a bit dodgy. But anyway, this is not the CL. What about my suggestions and comments, any thought...

I agree with Farlander. The graphics aren't mindblowing, and the character art is appalling.

I never played the 1st loom anyway. Never really had an interest in it.
#865
Ok, a few suggestions then.

1stly, is it just car racing? Can you visit different locals and meet other racers? or is it purely racing.

2ndly, it would be nice to have a speedometer, a tacho and a visual display of gears that arent just words.

3rdly, you should have a visual display of the track in the gui, with both you, and your opponents. and any police cars that are after you.

4thly, what is that multicoloured bar at the top? it looks wierd and exactly the same in all shots it is in.

If you finish it, more power to you.

Well that's wierd, I used to live in Stamford. My aunt and uncle live there.
#867
Where in Lincs are you? I'm in Northants, but i might be able to arrange a pickup.. possibly...
#868
Well what about those who doon't play demos. It is better to put a basic plot outline in your thread.
#869
Don't worry, I never play demos.

Your game does sound ok, but i'd like to know a bit more about the plot, seeing as I only discovered they were transported to the future through asking a question about their appearance.

He doesn't know how to use Google.

Perhaps you should invest some time with your artwork rather than displaying this repugnant pile of dogs bollocks to us. Perhaps then you will get more respect Pukeblake.

Is there some question to as whether the villian is  a psycho or not? From the title, it seems as though there is...

Is it based on the film at all... if not, i suggest you change the title...

Well at least you are better than my former roomie... He would break a ps2/xbox controller per week. I can think your outgoings on a new controller would be less than his.

I think the name is a brilliant marketing move by nintendo. I bet right now, and for a while, the internet media, and other websites are going to be absolutly saturated with wii coverage, just because of the name. Ohh XBox 360. Sounds to me that microsoft were looking for something interesting to do, looked around 360 degrees then decided to make exactly the same console (with slightly improved performance). Playstation 3... Um.. sounds like a stupid movie sequel. Maybe they should give it a subtitle...

Marketing is expensive usually. Nintendo saved themselves millions of £'s in one stroke. Genius I say. Sure the name is a bit naff, but when it gets closer to the release, the media will use it for silly taglines to articles.

Best move ever.

At least they are creative, unlike sony or m$.

I'm old school. I love 320x240!!!

That said, I will play a game in a higher resoloution.

But only if the other elements of the game spark my interest.

Like with any game. If it has a good idea, doesn't visually assult me, I will generally play it.
#876
The sprites in the screenshots look inconsistant. Is there a reason for this?
#877
I didn't realise that... Anyway, I didn't play the demo, I just went on what you wrote.

If you are going for 1970's there is a distinct lack of porno 'taches, sideburns, flared trousers and long hair. From the short hair, the goatee beard and the clothes, i assumed late 90's-present.

I don't like the Idea of the artwork being stolen from another game, even though you are screencapping them. It doesn't seem right to me. Just my humble opinion. And why can't you just export the 3d models and use milkshap or something to view each frame of animation?

Shouldn't Melt and Drake be in their 50's? Or were they transported to teh future?
